Anyone But You

Chapter 2

After First period

Tate and her friend walked out of class laughing and chatting, almost unaware of their surroundings.

Suddenly Tate crashed into someone.
The person she crashed into quickly said sorry, before she looked up and saw who she crashed into.
"Ugh. Get out of the way dumba**" Tate said quite hostilely.

The person she had crashed into was names Julia Collins, they were childhood friends until junior high, when they became enemies for an unknown reason. This girl is coincidentally also the same person on Tate's wrist, who she claims is her enemy.

"Why don't you watch where you're going....giant?" Julia responded, it was pretty obvious who was good at insults and who wasn't.
Tate cackled "I'm sorry, I didn't realize gnomes went to school" she smirked.

Before Julia could respond the bell rang and they all went to class.

During Class

Katelyn tapped on Tate's shoulder with a slight worrisome face. "Hey... you know how you don't know who your soulmate or your enemy is until you find out? Well... what if Julia ends up being your soulmate?" She whispered
Tate chuckled "Oh trust me. My gut feeling says she's definitely my enemy" she whispered back and continued to listen to the teacher.

Katelyn stayed silent until she tapped her shoulder again "Who's the other name you got?" She whispered again
Tate looked at her wrist covered by her sleeve. The name was none other than her friend's, but she didn't want to say anything "I actually don't know him yet, I wonder when I will though" she lied

Tate had actually had a crush on her friend a year after they met, but she hadn't come out to her friend yet so Katelyn still thought she was straight, although had her doubts.
