I want to lay down by the fire with you
Izuku was in his dorm room, fixing his suit. He looked over the mirror and smiled. In the next few days, they'll graduate from U.A. and finally be official heroes. He wanted to take Kyouka out on a date one last time before their schedules become swamped with hero work. Looking over one last time, he headed to his desk where he pulled out a small black box in his drawers. Running his fingers over it, he held the box to his chest he promised himself to make tonight the best night she'll ever have.
Where souls are glowing, ever warmer too
Kyouka was putting on the final touches on her dress. She looked at herself one more time and nodded. Seeing as this will be their last date in a while, she hoped nothing will ruin their night. She took her purse and started heading down to the common room, not knowing of the plans his boyfriend had in store.
Your love surrounds me like a lullaby
Izuku was sitting on one of the sofas, going over his plans one last time. He held his hand over his pocket, specifically the pocket where he put the black box in. Seeing that it was late afternoon, there was nobody in the common area bar from Sato, who was preparing dinner for the class. He already told the man that they were going to join the class as he already prepared their dinner for the date. He waited for a while longer until he heard a 'ding' from the elevator. Once he saw Jirou coming out of the elevator, he stood up to greet her.
Singing softly, you are mine oh mine
"Hey," Izuku said.
"Hey yourself," Kyouka kissed Izuku right on the lips.
"Ready?" Izuku held out his arm after they separated.
She simply nodded as they linked arms. Food basket in his hand, they left for their date as Sato wished them a good time.
Moon has never glowed this color
Hearts have never been this close
I've never been more certain
I will love you 'til we're old
The couple simply walked to their destination, garnering a few looks from the passerby. Women giggled and men smirked, girls blushed as the boys looked in envy. They never noticed what was happening around them. All they saw was each other.
Maybe the night holds a little hope for us, dear
Maybe we might want to settle down, just be near
Stay together here
They arrived at the Dagobah Municipal Beach just in time to see the sunset. There were no problems with their walk aside from some schoolgirls looking to take a picture with them and kids asking for their autographs. Izuku led her to the gazebo by the edge of the beach where she noticed a table for two already prepared, complete with unlit candles and a smaller table at the side with a bouquet of roses and wine in a bucket of ice. Wondering how he already had this prepared, he simply answered.
"I pulled in a few favors from the class to prepare this." Izuku sheepishly scratched his neck. Kyouka giggled as she kissed her boyfriend on the cheek.
"Thank you, Izuku. It looks lovely." Kyouka giggled as he led them to the table, Izuku gave her the bouquet and she smelled the roses as she received it. He propped up a chair for her as she sat down without question. He lit the candlesticks and took the food basket to the smaller table as he prepared their food. Kyouka couldn't see what he was preparing as it was obscured by the cinnamon roll's body.
Once Izuku served the food, she couldn't help herself but salivate. He prepared Katsudon, his specialty dish and one she learned to love during their time together. The Katsudon came out with salad on the side. As for drinks, he had prepared a wine that fits with their meal.

They talked as they ate. The spoke about their internships and experiences as well as the agencies they'll be joining after graduation. They talked about their insecurities and their expectations of the future. Then, it became lighthearted as they reminisce about their past experiences of the school and how they'll miss it.

The full moon was high in the sky, the sea reflecting on the moon's light and light waves hitting the shore. They finished laughing about the joke Kyouka said as Izuku stood up and offered his hand.
"May I have this dance?" he offered.
"Yes, you may," she said as she took his hand. Izuku wrapped his arms around Kyouka as she placed her hands on his shoulders. And with that, they danced to music only they could hear.

Closer they were as they fully wrapped themselves around each other and Jirou rested her head on his chest.
"Can I ask you something?" Izuku stopped the dance, forcing her to look at him confusedly.
"What is it?" she asked.
"Kyouka, these past three years have been the best years I had. Dating you was something I never regretted even now. And I want to take us to the next level." He separated from her and pulled out a black box. Jirou gasped as he knelt on one knee.
"We've been through so much over the years and I want us to continue that. I want to enjoy the rest of my life with you as we make new memories and experiences together. And for that to happen, I would like to ask you. Kyouka Jirou, will you make me the happiest man on Earth by becoming my wife?" He opened the box to reveal a diamond engagement ring with amethyst side stones.
Kyouka covered her mouth with her hands, tears were clouding her eyes. She waited for this moment and now, she only needed to say the word.
"Yes," it was soft, "Yes," it was louder, "Yes, Izuku! Yes! A million times yes!" tears spilled out of her eyes as he stood up and slipped the ring on her finger. She looked at the ring with wonder and stared at her boyfrie— no, fiancé 's eyes. Her onyx met his green as they leaned forward and kissed each other for the first time as an engaged couple.

They returned to the dorms before late at night. Everyone already went to sleep so it was only them in the common room. They placed the basket and wine in the kitchen as Izuku accompanied Kyouka to her room. Once they reached her room, he kissed her goodnight and was about to retire to his room when he felt a tug on his sleeve. He looked back to see Kyouka's head looking down, blushing.
"Stay the night?" was all she said.
"Maybe," he answered as they entered her room and retired for the night.
