"Only when you've lost everything are you free to do anything" Izuku Midoriya lost everything, his home, his best friend, his auntie and uncle but most importantly his mother. Living on the streets, in between the local shelters, he was slowly losing hope. But a certain chance meeting with a familiar face handed him a lifeline, a lifeline he grabbed with both hands. Now with a renewed vigor, Izuku runs into more people who save his life. Now known as the vigilante Emerald with a team behind him, Izuku Midoriya vows to become a hero for those who need him, he vows to become a symbol, a symbol of hope and equality.

What if deku was actually born with a quirk. What if he hid this quirk from everyone since he was four years old.

Izuku heard of a form of therapy for dealing with crushes from the 1A boys, writing a letter to them without sending it, so he decides to write one to his crush, Kyouka Jirou. To his surprise, it worked, and he went along with his life. That was until he comes back from his workout to see the 1A girls all sitting in a circle and Ashido reading out some familiar words. After receiving a Dear John from his once best friend and girlfriend, Izuku falls into a depressive state. Perhaps, with time, and the efforts of one Rocking Girl, he can become happy once again?
