Courtneys dad

"Courtney are you sure about this?" Asked Duncan whilst adjusting a tie to match his suit round his neck. "Yes I'm sure" said Courtney "it's fine my dad will like you"
"I hope so princess, because I wanna be with you, no matter the cost, I would give up everything to just be able to call you mine." Duncan said as he stared into Courtney beautiful onyx eyes, it was like he could see a whole other galaxy in there "you have the prettiest eyes I've ever seen" said Duncan as if he was in a dream "I like you eyes too" said Courtney. Then just like that they were making out in Duncan's bed. Duncan went to remove Courtney's dress then she pulled away "Duncan we can't you gotta meet my dad remember"
Duncan rolled of the bed "good point princess." 
Courtney straitened our her dress before grabbing Duncan's arm "I think we're ready to go" Duncan looked nervous "I guess it's now or never then."
Alive waved as Courtney dragged Duncan out the door "good luck Duncan, bye Courtney"
"Bye" they said in unison. Courtney our Duncan in the front passenger seat of the car and got in the front drivers seat "that wasn't so hard was it Duncan"
Duncan still looked scared "this wasn't the hard bit, your dads gonna take 1 look at me and hate me"
"Well the only reason he knows about us is because you left a used condom in his house last week"
Duncan bit his lip "I'm screwed"
They arrived at Courtney's house, a house Duncan knew too well Duncan knocked on the door and it was Courtney's mum who opened it "hello Courtney, and this must be Duncan," she shook his hand "ive heard so many lovely things about you"
"Thank you very much" said Duncan
"Courtney's father is in the kitchen, good luck." She said and with that Duncan and Courtney walked in and through to the kitchen where her  dad was sitting on a chair with 2 chairs facing him "Hello dad" said Courtney
"Good evening Mr Barlow" said Duncan his voice cracking slightly from nerves and held his hand to shake Mr Barlow shook it and looked at Duncan "so you're the infamous criminal Duncan Nelson, the man with no remorse or empathy. Yet thinks he can walk into my daughters life," He said looking at Duncan, Duncan and Courtney say down at the chairs
"Which all due respect sir I'm not really like that, I have my reason for what I do. And trust me my remorse hits me hard!"  Said Duncan with real innocence in his eyes
"What are your reasons? Because from where I'm standing you haven't even told Courtney your reason" Mr Barlow said in a higher tone than before "so If you don't spill right now you can walk out that door and never come back"
Duncan glared at mr Barlow put down his head and spoke "fine" Mr Barlow looked at Courtney "you should go upstairs" Duncan shook his head "let her stay, she deserves to know"
Me Barlow nodded "ok now Duncan take it away"
Duncan looked up "It all started when I was born, classic accident story, the condom broke and my mum ended up with me, my dad took of on the first plane-"
Mr Barlow scoffed "that's why your a criminal, do me a favour"
"Let me finish," said Duncan and then he continued "my mom had no qualifications and relied on my dad for money, she couldn't go back to school because I was troubled to say the least, so she stripped, and prostituted her self. And that's when my sister Suzie came along my mum died in childbirth and social services where talking about separating me and my sister, I was only 10 and didn't know what I was getting my self into and I said to the director of fostering, let me and my sister stay together, everyone has a price tell me yours and I'll pay it monthly, she told me £6500 a month so I asked one of my older friends how I could make that kinda money a month and I ended up in a gang." 
Courtney looked at Duncan "oh dunky that's so sad Duncan looked at Mr Barlow and he said "and trust me I do get remorse, I get nightmares beyond your wildest nightmares, the things I've done haunt me, some nights I wake up screaming reliving the things I did"
Mr Barlow had a tear rolling down his cheek "I'm sorry Duncan I misjudged you and I wouldn't mind you dating my daughter, it's clear that you love each other, but if you ever hurt her, you will never see her again"
"Understood sir!" Said Duncan
"And 1 more thing" said mr Barlow "you're both over 16 so I don't mind you having sex, but if you leave a used condom in my house again you can find somewhere else to do it"
