An hour before

Afrah's POV

"Good girl. Just get in without attracting an audience." The man in the car tells me and I do so. As I am about to close the door, I spot Samuel leaving the reception.

"Don't try anything funny. I still have the gun." He warns as he turns on the engine and drives off.

Nicole runs outside the reception and looks at the car I am in as if wanting it to stop but the man doesn't.

"Where are you taking me?" I finally gain the courage to direct a word to him.

"You'll see."

"Afrah... Afrah, are you still there?" I hear a voice and remember I am still on call with Saniya. The man grabs my phone and throws it outside the window.

"Will you pay for that?" I ask raising my voice at him and hear him laugh.

"Even in situations like this, you're still able to keep your humour. I like that." He responds and I look outside the window, trying to find a way to leave. The windows were tinted, so nobody could see me. Even if they were not, I wouldn't risk it. He's got a gun right beside him.

"Take a nap, it's going to be quite a long ride." He tells me ironically and I ignore him.

After a whole long hour, we arrive in the middle of no-where. It resembled a farming field. There was a type of garage door covered with wood all around it. The man leaves the car and opens the door for me to then lead the way.

"Where are we going?" I ask again after five minutes of walk.

I find two men in front of a large brown door. They open the door for us and he takes me inside with him. He leads me to the stairs and we go down to what seemed to be a basement. There I find another lady sitting down on a chair while both her wrists and ankles tied. Her head was facing down so I couldn't see her face.

"Who is she?" I ask the man but he just grabs a rope and ties my wrists together. "It's not like I'm going to try to run away with all you stupid men out there."

"You talk more than you should, little girl," He makes me sit down on a chair, trying me to the chair. "I will be back soon with the boss."

"Is she okay?" I refer to the lady next to me.

"Now that you're here, she will be fine." He says before walking out.

"Excuse me, lady?" I say and notice her move a little, which meant she wasn't sleeping. She was probably feeling weak. God knows how many days she's been here. "Are you okay?" I ask, wanting to help her lift her head up but both my hands were tied.

"I don't know where Afrah is," I hear her murmur something.

"What?" I ask, wanting her to repeat herself.

"Water... I need water," She murmurs again. Before I could give her an answer, the man that kidnapped me comes back with a tall, muscular man.

"So you actually got her. Very good job." The tall man, says.

"I told you, you could trust me." The one who kidnapped me answers proudly.

"Nice to finally meet you personally, Afrah. How long has it been? Quite a long time. I am Mad Dog, you have probably heard of me since your brother is a detective. Never thought that little Ismail would end up becoming a detective. Destiny is unpredictable." The tall man, says.

Mad Dog? He does look crazy to me but why would he call himself that?

"I don't know who you are, but I also don't care. Can you please just give this lady some water?" I ask, remembering that she asked for water.
