Fun sunday

We got to the waffle house. It was full of people. We both ordered waffles and milk. They came out after five minutes.

"Don't you think it's weird how it only takes five minutes"

He took a bite out of his waffle.

"Whatever they put in it is worth it"

I gave him a sass look while taking a bite.

"You smoke... everything is worth it to you"

He stopped eating and gave me a "I can believe you just said that" look. Then he went back to eating like nothing happened.

"That's true but still offensive"

"Oh I'm sorry did I hurt your feelings?"

I stick my bottom lip out pretending to pitty him. He stopped eating again.

"Don't say that"

I was definitely testing his patience.

"Or what?"

He gave me a playful scowl. Then he kicked my foot from under the table.

"OW!"

He continued eating. Then shrugged.

"You started it"

"Oh you big baby"

We both laughed then ate our food. After we started to walk out the door. Then I suddenly remembered.

"Did we pay?"

Grayson stopped. He was thinking. Then he looked surprised.

"Oh right I gotta go to work"

He took a hat out of his pocket to put it on. It said Waffle House on in. I laughed in disbelief. Then he walks to the cashier desk. This dude was serious.

"So you came here to get free food and so you didn't have to walk to work?"

"Yeah"

"Your smart...hey I need to get my car later are you busy?"

"No, I'll come"

"Cool"

I left the Waffle House. I needed to get to work. It wasn't that far away from the Waffle House. It was right across the street. I worked at pet smart. It was like getting payed to play with animals. Well, I help the customers too, but I'm more focused on the animals.
I got there and put my uniform on. It was just a hat and a vest. As soon as I walked in I went to the animal's. First I played with the mice(and hamsters). Then I played with the guinea pigs. After that I played with the birds. Before I go outside I played with the cats and dogs. Then if you go outside you will see the farm animals. Well they are farm animal types. They're supposed to live with you though. We have goats, pigs, sheep, llamas, and horses(they aren't supposed to live indoors btw).

After I got done playing with them my boss came out. She looked very disappointed.

"Bella you know the animals don't need your attention everyday all the time"

I covered the horses ears.

"Mrs.lener don't say such horrible things in front of the children"

She looked at me with a sarcastic look.

"Look Bella it's not fair that the other people are doing the real work and getting paid just as much"

"Then why don't you make me part of "the love and affection" department"

As I was saying that I made a half circle in the air as if I was creating a rainbow with the words in it.

"Because then everyone would want to be in it"

"Tell then it's a one person job"

"No"

"Oh but Mrs. lener it's such a good idea"

"Bella just go stalk a shelf and then you can come back out here"

"Yessss"

I celebrated like I was a middle school boy who just got a date with a girl. I started to walk inside. Mrs. lener stopped me for a second.

"Bella are you high?"

I looked really confused.

"I don't think so why?"

"Cause you seem very very VERY happy today, usually you would flip me off and tell me to sit in a dumpster"

I did feel like saying it earlier but I wasn't gonna say it now.

"Yeah I got suspended from school"

Mrs. Lener gave me a very confused look. It's not something people my age say a lot here in Pet smart. It's mostly nerds.

"And that's good?"

"Yes it is"

I walked away without seeing her reaction. It was very weird. I haven't been as rude as usual. I have even been less violent. Last time I punched something it was Molly's face. Last week. That's a record. I usually punch something everyday.

After work I went home. It wasn't a very long walk but I didn't want to do it again. I stepped into the house.

"I'm home!!"

I started walking up the stairs. Then my mom opened the garage door and walked in.

"Hi honey.... where is your car?"

"Oh Tommy borrowed it and I'll bring it back later"

She was a little thrown off but she nodded.

"Ok well I just have to tell you on Friday I'm working day and night shifts, but I'm off on Thursday"

"Uhh good to know"

I got to my room and flopped on my bed. I was gonna start school tomorrow. I didn't want to, but I did at the same time. Remembering that I still had the clothes that I had on yesterday on, I went to go take a shower. When I got out I got dressed.

I remembered something. I got out my phone.

Me:"hey Tommy btw you are borrowing my car and I'm coming to pick it up later"

Tommy:okie dokie

I put my phone down and turned on my X-box. I had a million games on it. I played Didn't know what to play so I just turned off my X-box. That's when I got a call. It was from Grayson. I answered it...
