I woke up to my alarm clock at 5 am. I woke up early so that I can take my time to get ready. I didn't know why I bothered. It's not like I was going to get there on time. I was always late on purpose. I got some cereal and waited for my mom to come down and say goodbye to me. After she left I went back upstairs to get changed.

It broke the school dress code and it was cute so I wore it. I knew I was going to be hungry later so I got a bag of chips for later. It was about 7:30 when I finished getting ready which gave meant it was time to get to school. I stepped into my car and drove off slowly.
When I was driving my mind would wander off. I would look at something or someone on and around the road and I would think about something related to it. After a while I saw my school and turned into it. I parked the car and got out. It was 8:10 so I was officially late. I walked to the front desk and I got a tarty slip. I didn't want to go to class so I started a conversation with a few people. My the time I walked into class it was 8:30. The teacher looked disgusted. I could tell she was one of those strike one two and three types of teachers.
"MISS Benit. Two more strikes in my class and it will be detention for you."
I was right. I walked to the back of the class.
"I will decide your seating arrangement."
"Umm I think the fuck not."
The class started laughing and going "OOOOOOO SNAP"
"EXCUSE ME THAT IS DETENTION FOR YOU!"
Day one and I already got detention. I sat in the back next to my friend Tommy.
" dang day one first period already got detention."
She was definitely proud. Around 9 someone else walked in. He was beautiful. His dark straight hair touched his porcelain skin so perfectly. His nose was like an angels nose. His lips were so perfectly shaped. He even had nice rosy cheeks. But his eyes they were dark blue. They almost called out to me. I was so in a trance that I didn't know what was going on. The next thing I knew was Tommy was poking me. I snapped out of it.
"Damn Bella he got detention before you did"
I saw him carrying a detention slip. He did get detention. I was going to see him there. What was I thinking. I didn't know this boy. I didn't want to get attached to him. He was probably going to leave me. I told myself that. After a while I said to myself.
"I don't need to date him we can just be friends, he seems cool anyway."
The word "friends" echoed in my brain for a while. Then the bell rang.
After school**
I told Tommy and Cristy to meet me at the movie theater at 7:00. We all agreed and I left for detention. I walked in and saw him. I sat across the room from him. the teacher was already asleep so I spoke freely.
"How did you get in?"
He looked at me confused and then spoke.
"Told the teacher to suck my ass for saying I need extra homework."
"Good job"
I didn't know what else to say really. I just sat in silence for a while.
"Hey you down to hang out tonight?"
He said it so smoothly.
"Why?"
"Because I don't have anything to do soooo like what are your plans"
"don't you have friends?"
"yeah but their probably high already"
"oh I have plans with my friends"
He definitely thought about it for a hot second.
"great I'll come"
Ok this dude seemed cool but I wasn't about to just let him hang with us.
"Hell no your not"
He raised his eyebrows but didn't make a facial expression. Then he got up and slammed his hands on my desk. then he spoke.
"Look little girl I don't know who you think you are but when someone tells me no... It never ends well."
His voice was dark and angry. He was trying to make a point. he wanted to be top dog. that was not going to happen. I stood up and grabbed him by the shirt.
"listen here "Little boy" when I say no to someone it means no and if they don't listen they don't end up the same, now I see you trying to stand up and take my place but I will tell you now. I tell people what to do, not you."
I let go of his shirt and I sit back down. He straightens himself out again.Then he walks towards the door. I look up at his tall figure. He looks back down at me.
"I like you your cool."
"I like you too you can come to our hangout."
He pushed his hair back out of his face and chuckled.
"I don't need permission."
And then he opens the door and walks out of the room....
