Mari knew that Chat took on some characteristics of a cat. He would purr, like to be petted, and curl up. But she was curious about how he would react to a cat toy. So one day, she decided to test her theory.
---Marinette's Point of View---
I held out the green and black box to Chat Noir. He comes to my balcony sometimes, and I wanted to see how much of a cat he is. Grinning, I she watched as his eager face fell, and he pulled a cat toy out of the box.
---Chat's Point of View---
Marinette has played me. Dammit... (Lol most likely the closest I'll get to writing a curseword XD)
"Mari?" I said, turning to face her. "You do know that I'm not an actual cat, right?" I watched her face screw up with laughter, and then she burst, laughing. I pouted. "It's not funny!"
---Marinette's Point of View---
"Yes it is!" I cried out, tears escaping from my eyes. I grabbed the toy, and waved it in front of Chat's face. "Who knows, maybe you will like it!" I said, grinning. It jingled in front of his face, and I watched, grinning, as his eyes darted back and forth, and his obvious self-restraint. To her great joy, he started batting at the toy, hearing it jingle.
---Chat's Point of View---
Realizing what I just did, I pulled my arms back, and crawled under Mari's chaise. I am ashamed. She made me play with a cat toy. For actual cats. Plagg is SO dead when we get back home, I thought.
