Jace
After my bath, Did my remaining errands, went across the street to talk to her. Few more steps and i'm near. Rang the doorbell and waited for couple of minutes. As I waited, I thought of how im going to get to know her more. After minutes of waiting, the front door opened, there she was , staring shocked at me. I mean, who wouldn't be shocked? Like we've been neighbors about four years and we never saw each other at random. Finally, she opened up the gate, and said, Hi, come in.
I smiled to her and stepped inside the house.
Let's see what I can do.

Denise
After my errands, I was on the kitchen, baking my cake, a red velvet cake. I was about to go to the living room when my doorbell rang. Turns out to be Jace. He was standing there all perfect. But I come to think, why is he here? After all these years? Haha. I opened the gate and said "Hi, come in." As a result, he shoot me a smile. My mind was screaming inside.
I could see that he would look at me from time to time. I feel like im going to fly. The silence was killing me. Until he finally spoke,
"Hey Denise, I would like to know you better. Could I visit you time to time? Or maybe we could hangout sometimes? ". I was mentally speechless. I couldn't say a word.
minutes later, I realized he was waiting for my answer. so I did.
"Well, of course, just don't be a stranger, shoot me a text sometime". i replied.
as an answer he smiled widely.
i guided him to the living room, he was surprised that how nice the room was. i just laughed at him.
i said, i was going to the kitchen to offer him some snacks,
it was just time time when my baked cake was done.
I pulled it out from the oven and sliced a piece, then offered it to him.
he was surprised when he tasted the cake, all he said was
" Denise? were you the one who cooked this ? 'cause its very delicious".
I answered him with a nod.
he just smiled back.

The whole day, we were just goofing around, got to know each other , and exchanged numbers, until, he spoke again.
"Denise, can I stay here overnight?"
I answered.
"No can do, you have to go home. You can come back by tomorrow, is that alright?"
"Yeah sure, I understand, well, I better hop off now, Bye." he said.
"Bye".
After I got to say goodbye, my phone beeped.

I just smiled and went to bed.
I was happy that finally, I found a friend.
