After trying and failing to get into university, Justin Hong calls it quits and decides to work full-time at his family's café, Bittersweet, for free.
And for the most part, it's not all terrible. He still has his car, he's great at baking and at the end of his shifts, Justin gets to go home and spend time with his father and younger brother.
That is until one day, Clarissa Hoshino arrives at the entrance of Bittersweet, looking more lost than he's ever seen her before. Ten months of radio silence and Justin doesn't have a clue as to why Clarissa's come back - let alone why she needs a job. From him.
On separate ways, Justin and Clarissa both venture through a path of forgotten memories and twisted truths. And Justin, unable to get past the roadblocks of his youth, decides that only way for him to let go is to remind himself as to why Clarissa left in the first place.
