? ? ?'s Perspective-
I sheathe my sword and walk away gruffly; I am not in the mood to talk to anyone. It isn't like I have to, nor is it something I do constantly or even a little bit. My blonde hair covers my angry expression, as my cerulean eyes avoid everyone, and I mean everyone's gaze. I bite my tongue and storm into my dorm, slamming the door shut, and sit on my bed. "Link, please open the door!"A feminine voice begs from behind the wooden door. I just stare at the door, waiting for her to use any power to get through, but she relents, and walks away. Those footsteps went in rhythm with my heartbeat, which is beating fast. Yeah, and you think I don't care? I dare you to tell everyone some other secrets I shared with you only! I huff and puff, maybe even throw a bomb at the door to blow someone up if they would enter.
"Is he okay? I've never seen him like that before! He hardly gives away any emotions; more or less a simple greeting," another voice chimes in, being another familiar voice. Go away Peach, nobody asked for your input, or at least I didn't. The first voice sighs, "Just leave him be. If he has an anger that everyone can see, it's best to leave him alone. Besides, I'm sure he'll get over it." Yeah, and let's see, the last time since anyone told them that I almost fell off a cliff that one time because I was daydreaming, was never. I am seriously about to jump off it on purpose. I grab my Shiekah Slate, and just stare at the remote bomb button. I grit my teeth, my thumb pushing the button. A remote bomb forms in my hand, as I just stare at it. "Did you hear about the two newcomers? They just came in last night. They both were worthy enough," Marth's voice echoes in the halls just outside the barrier between anger and everyone else.
"I heard that. Those two surprised me by far. They defeated Bowser and Pikachu in combat. Bowser almost blew the battlefield down in his frustration," Roy explains. Another pair of fighters just came in? I wonder who they are. I push another button, and the bomb disappears. Their voices dim down, and I stand up. I take my sword and shield off of my back, and lay on my bed, staring at the ceiling. I close my eyes, draining the entire remaining wrath out of my mind. I must've been here for about two hours, but I don't feel like I am asleep. "Link, are you coming to the food hall?" Food hall, already, but I was just here for fifteen solid minutes! I look at the clock ticking on the wall. Sure enough, I read it about two hours from when I entered the room previously. I grab my sword and shield and equip them, and open the door. Zelda stands at the door, her eyes still full of shock from my outbreak at break room.
I respectfully walk past her and head towards the food hall, where echoes of voices bounce off of the walls. "Link, I-," Zelda starts her sentence, but I can tell she knows it is no use. I am about to fall apart at this point, and maybe lash out at a few people, maybe even the newcomers who have heard nothing about her embarrassing me. I am expecting a huge riot of laughter, but there is a bunch of talking, and conversation amongst tables and with Mario. I go to the serving table and grab a plate with a few things on it. I sit alone, but this isn't the unusual part. Everyone is not surprised that I sit alone, but more when I actually say a few words to them during any time. A huge honor, huh, I think sarcastically. I look at the large doors, where newcomers come in, switching my thoughts to who could've possibly beaten Bowser and Pikachu. As far as I know, they are a great team.
As an answer to my question, a few people walk over to the entrance to the food hall to crowd... someone? If it is a newcomer, I thought there were two of them? Chattering rises to a whole new level as I can barely pick out who is who. I shrug and eat some of my food. "Now-a come on! Give the new-a-comer some-a space!" Mario calls from the back, and then continues talking with the others with him. And he is going to be a show-off, let me guess, I glumly say in silence. I unsheathe my sword and sharpen it against my shield, since it is basically unbreakable. I hear a collection of footsteps, like a jig or something, and someone puts their hands on the table. "You look a bit lonely. Why are you here alone?" an unfamiliar, innocent voice breaks my realm of silence. I look up to see sparkling blue eyes glancing at me, and to my surprise, he is someone else. An angel?
"My name is Pit! What is yours, ifyou may?" I manage to mumble, "Link." The angel fixes his a ruffled hair a bit,and grins, "Nice to meet you, Link! But, er, as I was asking, why are youalone?" I don't answer, but continue sharpening my sword, which I am about donewith. I examine it, as the angel staggers slightly, "Okay, the quiet type... er,uh, nice meeting you!" Then he scampers off. I overhear on accident, supposedly, "Don't mind him; at leastyou got his name. He barely talks to anyone,"Roselina says from a distance. I guessthat's true, so I can't complain. For the greater good... I stand up and headto my dorm. I can even sense Pit's curious gaze upon my back, wondering whatall of the mysteries are about me. I sheathe my blade, and shield, then open mydoor, and calmly shut it. I am about to take my weaponry off until I see a darkfigure moving the shadows. I raise my sword and swing it, but nothing is there.I must be tired, if there truly wasnothing there. I take a deep breath, and take off my weaponry, then laydown on my bed. I instantly close my eyes, and I know that sleep awaits me.
