third person pov:

the group had a fun time by the pool. they took pictures, made random tiktoks, met more people, and danced to music. it was getting a little dark and they sat on the ground, on a blanket they brought, making casual conversation. ace wasn't necessarily paying attention to them, he was too busy staring at gia. he wanted to tell her how he felt that day but kept doubting.

"yo ace?" roshaun got his attention.

"yea? what's up." he turned to him. roshaun laughed.

"just making sure you're good." he replied. ace smiled and rolled his eyes.

meanwhile, gia was talking to veondre.

"hey, where's mattia?" gia asked.

"uh i don't know." veondre and gia looked around.

"what are you guys looking for?" syd asked.

"mattia, he hasn't been back in a while." veondre said. this got everyone's attention and they looked around.

"oh there he is." they all looked in his direction and veondre smiled when she saw him. their smiles soon vanished when they saw him laughing with a random girl.

"she's probably just a fan or-" donae was cut off when they witnessed him kiss her right in front of their faces.

a mix of "what the fucks" , "no he didn'ts" , and so on came from the group. veondre stood up and they all looked at her.

"ve?" gia questioned but she walked straight up to a surprised mattia and slapped him. she then ran back up to the hotel room.

gia, donae, ace, and syd instantly followed her as the rest went to go confront mattia.

georgia's pov

we finally got to veondre's hotel room and knocked on the door.

"ve? please open." i said. i heard sniffling as she opened the door, letting us in. we sat on the bed surrounding her.

"mattia's an idiot anyway." donae said.

"i'm not really surprised but it hurts ya know." she replied. i rubbed her back.

"we're here for you." syd said and put a hand on hers making her smile.

"want a hug?" ace asked. veondre laughed and nodded. we leaned into a group hug surrounding her and laughed. then the door opened. in came guage, noen, yasmine, maya, tatyanah, roshaun, and surprisingly mattia.

"what does he want?" veondre sassed.

"we dragged him here to apologize." maya said and we all looked at him. he rolled his eyes.

"ok so where's the apology miss girl?" i said. this must've made him mad.

"i'm done being fake. you all suck. georgia you act like you're so much better than everyone!" he said and i gasped.

"what the hell are you going on about?" i stood up and crossed my arms.

"don't act like it's not true. veondre, i really did like you but it got too boring. i'm over it now. i'm not even sorry about what i did." that sent everyone overboard. we all started yelling at mattia.

"HEY!" ace yelled and got us quiet.

"shut up ace, you're no better than georgia. always trying to be the peace maker, i think you're a punk." he said and that got not only me, but ace mad too.

"mattia you better shut up if all you're gonna do is talk shit that isn't even true." he said getting closer to him.

"if it's not true then tell georgia-"

"stop calling me georgia." i interrupted him but he ignored me.

"tell her ur big news. tell her how you feel romeo." that made me freeze. ace was quiet and so was the rest of the room.
"that's what i thought, pussy." as soon as the word left his mouth ace punched him. mattia tried to fight back but he pinned him down and continued.

"ace!" i yelled as we all tried to break them up. eventually guage pulled ace off of him.

"who's the pussy now." ace said. mattia stood up and shook his head.

"i'm done." then just like that he was gone. we were all quiet, no one knew how to react.

"that was a lot to take in." tatyanah said.

"i have an idea." we turned to noen to hear what he had to say. "this is our last night here and we're all obviously not in a good state right now, we could stay in one hotel room together?" he suggested. we all nodded and agreed.

[time skip]

i was putting my blanket and pillow down on the floor when i realized i forgot a second blanket.

"ugh i didn't get a blanket to cover myself with." i said aloud.

"we could share?" i turned to ace. "m-mine is uh pretty big anyway." he said. i smiled and nodded. he smiled back and spread the blanket out. i stared at him. i couldn't stop thinking about what happened with mattia. he looked back at me.

"um, what was that thing you wanted to tell me?" i asked. he sighed and shook his head.

"it's nothing."

"no ace i want you to tell me." i didn't loose eye contact with him.

"right now it's the best time to-" i cut him off again.

"will you just say it?" i raised my voice getting everyone quiet. "obviously a lot has happened so something to distract me would be pretty great right now." i didn't even care that everyone was staring.

"uh, gia, it might be better if he said it tomor-" maya said but ace interrupted her.

"no it's ok. i've been putting this off. two things. first off i had a surprise for you. i assumed i'd tell you tomorrow but, uh, it's w-whatever." he took a deep breath. "i'm moving to florida."
