Today was the start of the end. The end of the gods.

I couldn't help but wonder what would happen to Apollo, he was one of the remaining six gods. I didn't even want to entertain the thought that he would have to be defeated the same way that the other gods do. Maybe there's a way for him to become human. Maybe he'll become a human and spend the rest of his life with me.

Maybe.

The glass door swung open rather gracefully. Apollo followed me as I stepped into the large mattress store. It was actually quite comical how the gods could pretty much do anything and Hypnos chose to own a mattress store. It's not like he owned a small one either, his company made the best mattresses in the city, maybe even the country. I guess it fit him, being the god of sleep and all.

We walked straight to the counter to the right of the door. The store was just like I imagined it would be, full of mattress displays. For being the top mattress store in the city, the building was quite empty. I rang the small bell on the counter that was placed next to a 'ring for assistance' sign. A door in the corner of the room opened revealing the god that we were looking for. Hypnos emerged from the room with a silk eye mask pulled up to rest on his forehead. He stretched his arms above his head and let out an enormous yawn.

He stopped in his tracks as soon as he saw the two of us. He was fully awake by the time he reached the counter.

"So you are fulfilling the prophecy, huh?" He took off the eye mask and placed it onto the counter.

I nodded, "Sorry."

"It's alright. I'm tired of being tired, and I can't stand Poseidon thinking he's in charge anymore," he turned towards a mirror that was beside the door he came out of earlier, "The flower is in there, in the land of dreams. You need to get the flower and bring it out before you destroy it. If you destroy it while you are in the mirror, you will be trapped there forever."

"I have a question about a reoccurring dream."

"Ask away," He leaned against the counter.

"I keep having this dream, I see a girl running in a field at night. She leans down and swirls her finger around in a glowing pond. She turns around, and I realize that it's me. Her eyes change from blue, to silver, and her flower crown changes into a real crown. The she holds a hand out and-"

Before I could finish, Hypnos spoke up, "And Apollo takes it. Yes, I'm familiar with the dream. It's a prediction, of what? I'm not exactly sure. The silver eyes represent immunity to certain magic, which explains why my powers didn't work on you the day that we met. I assume that the ending of your dream means that the two of you," he pointed to Apollo, "will be together in the end of all of this."

"Thank you, Hypnos."

"No problem."

I sighed, "If it's any consolation, I will make sure Natalia will be okay."

He chuckled, "She won't remember me, and I knew she was just a gold digger. I loved her too much to see it, but deep down I knew."

I hated that my friend had turned out the way she had. At one point she believed in love.

I nodded and walked around the counter to approach the mirror. I turned to see both Hypnos and Apollo watching me.

"Thank you, Hypnos, really." He smiled in response.

I stared at my reflection in the mirror.

What if I was doing the wrong thing?

I lifted a finger and placed it on my reflection. Instead of my finger hitting the glass of the mirror, it seemed to go through it. I pulled my hand back and examined the finger that went through the mirror. Oddly enough, it was perfectly fine. This time, I reached my whole hand out to test the mirror, and it reached straight through the mirror. I put both hands on the wall on either side of the mirror and pushed my face through the mirror. When my eyes opened, I was transported to a different realm.
