Midoriya's Unsaid Past

Todoroki soon had to leave Midoriya for the next match. He was still sleeping with the oxygenator and few wires. He'll have to be like that for a month.

     Yeah, a month.

Todoroki was silent looking at Bakugo. Bakugo just looked at him with a smile. Of pride? What the heck?!

"Good job, Icy Hot!! You gave the nerd a lesson!! Which by way, nice job he needs to learn his place!! Now let's see how you deal with me!!", Bakugo yells as Todoroki was silent. As rage lit itself alive.

It made sense why Midoriya was cutting himself even after attending U.A. He has to deal with Bakugo everyday. Todoroki could tell that fact alone was enough to cause him to do that to himself.

Flames spark right off dangerously as the heat went past Endeavor's and Dabi's limit. It was freaking hotter than the hottest stars. As the flames went the shades past blue and red. His ice matching it temperatures even colder.

Todoroki then prepares a blast and it was sent straight at Bakugo and instantly knocks sharply out of the ring sky high to the point that All Might had to catch him.

Midnight who very uneasily looking at Todoroki's face to see an ice cold rage that was shown with direct emotion more than what she has ever seen in the student. She instantly yells his victory as he calms gently bringing back in his quirk.

The rage however still seen on his face. As many cheered his name that includes Endeavor who was ecstatic. Midnight noticed him silently head off the stage and she sends Aizawa to follow him.

Aizawa shrugs but follows Todoroki to see him head to Midoriya's room. Todoroki sat in a chair softly next to Midoriya. His face had guilt and worry replacing the rage.

Aizawa watched with Recovery Girl and Nezu  through the cameras silently. Aizawa was silent as Todoroki held Midoriya's arm softly. It was covered in fresh bandages.

Recovery Girl sighs softly, "Midoriya has been cutting himself.". Aizawa became deadly silent. Nezu had tears fall gently down his face. It hurts him to know that one of his students is suffering a pain to cause self harm.

Todoroki however sat near Midoriya with a pained expression. "Midoriya, you were bullied by Bakugo weren't you?", Todoroki asks softly to the unconious but in shock to see a small nod as Midoriya's eyes open softly.

"T-Tod-oro-ki?", Midoriya asks through the oxygenator as Todoroki's hands held him steady. His quirk calming him gently. "Yes, Midoriya.", he says softly.

"I-I gu-es-s sin-ce you to-ld m-me you-r pa-st. I-I shou-ld te-ll yo-u mi-ne. Pl-eas-e ta-ke th-is to-o he-lp pe-ople ok-ay?", Midoriya says softly Todoroki nods softly while making sure his wounds didn't worsen in any way and there was no chance of fatalness. Midoriya would just require rest after telling him.

"I-it st-arts bef-ore U.A Ex-ams. Ten months ago, w-when I-I fin-ally disc-o-vered m-my qui-rk. F-Full Co-wl.  Yeah-yeah, the d-doc-tors th-ough-t I wa-s n-ev-er g-oi-ng t-to de-velop o-ne. So-o mo-st o-of my-y li-fe, I w-was qu-irk-less.", Midoriya starts softly as tears leak down gently from his face.

Recovery Girl was silent as tears began pouring out of her faster than Nezu. Aizawa silently listens to the story with the others fighting his emotions down for Midoriya.

"That's why you can't handle it. You never it existed until ten months before exams.", Todoroki softly with a sympathy and let's him continue.

"M-my d-dad Le-ft afte-r th-at. E-ever-yon-e bullied me. Th-at includes Kacchan-Kacchan. I always had more scars when I got home. My-y m-om w-worked a-a lo-t to j-ju-st fee-ed me. So-o-n th-h-e st-re-ss bec-and to-o mu-ch on-n he-r a-an-d . . .", Midoriya continues as tears with sobs pour down gently as this part hurt the most. Todoroki then hugged him softly telling it's okay to cry.

"S-sh-e st-art-ed to ha-te me-e li-ke ev-ery-on-e else-e. So I had to le-arn h-ho-w to l-ive-e o-on se-lf re-liance.", Midoriya finishes the story before crying in deep sorrow and pain. Todoroki holds him softly with a deep understanding and sympathy. Midoriya didn't deserve this. Anyone else did but he didn't.

Todoroki knew exactly what that "mother" did. She became an abusive parent just like everyone else in Midoriya's life. Everyone hated him for something he held no control over. They tortured him and taunted him for being having no stupid quirk!

Todoroki held Midoriya until he fell asleep in his arms and Todoroki places him gently back into the bed. His eyes glow a soft deadly bright as his promise to Midoriya burns deeply in his mind. It was stronger than anything.

Todoroki couldn't describe this feeling to you for he had never felt this before. It was a foreign concept. But the way to describe it at least to him is the fact that he deeply cares about Midoriya. It was a bond past the one he had with Touya. He didn't know how to explain it. He just knows that he would never hate Midoriya not even once.

Todoroki silently heads out back to the Sports Fesitval with the three staff silently following him in a close distance. Todoroki would receive his medal with a dignity as Bakugo was cursing his head off.

Todoroki then calmly grabs Bakugo and drags him straight to a hallway outside a certain room. He also got Uraraka, Asui, Iida and Shinso. Time to get answers, Bakugo.
