The bell rang. Lunch. Finally.
I went to the cafeteria to see Juliet standing by the stairs, looking around. She tucked her hair behind her ear. God, she's so sexy. I walked up behind her.
I bent down and whispered in her ear "Boo" she jumped "You're evil" she laughed. I nodded my head towards the lunch line. Juliet gestured towards the line "Lead the way" she smiled. Damn right.
We got our lunch and sat at one of the picnic tables outside.
"How tall are you?" Juliet asked. I looked at her, confused "Sorry I know that was out of the blue but I couldn't help but notice that you tower over like everyone here" she chuckled.
She's so fucking adorable. "6'7" her eyes widened "Dang! I don't think I've ever met anyone that tall" she chuckled.
I noticed her eyes trail down to my neck "That's a cool necklace" she pointed to my neck "Chain" I corrected her.
"Yes, of course. I forget you're a man" she said sarcastically. I chuckled at her.
It was a thick chain, which had a padlock hanging from it, with "Apollo" engraved on the bottom.
We made some small talk. She's really sweet, if I haven't already made that clear. Probably too sweet to be with someone like me, but what can I say? I'm selfish. I was sad when lunch ended.
I walked Juliet to class.
The last bell rang. FINALLY. This has been the longest day ever. Yet somehow the best day ever. I got to my car and got out my keys when I heard that beautiful laugh from a far.
I turned towards the direction of sound. There she is. I sat there for a a minute, just looking at her. How can I not look at her? She's gorgeous. She looked over at me and we made eye contact. She looked over at to her friends, and waved goodbye. Then, she turned and walked towards me.
"You know other girls might get freaked out if you stared like that" she joked around. I smirked at her. I would never stare at another girl like that. In fact, I no longer find any other girl attractive. Juliet, don't you get it? YOU'RE the one I need... "I'll take you home" I offered "You know Apollo, I think that's the most put together sentence I think you've ever said to me" she nudged me and I couldn't help but laugh at her joke. Damn, she's funny too? The whole package.
"You don't have to take me home, I'm just gonna walk" she said. My Juliet? Walking? Hell no. She's too good for that; My love only deserves the best, shes an empress, a goddess. I'm on my knees for her. We bickered a bit, but I ended up winning, naturally.
Juliet gave directions the whole way back to her house. "That's me" she said pointing to her house. It was a small house. Nothing wrong with it. But she deserves a palace, with golden gates, a pond of swans, and-
"Thanks for the ride" she told me. I nodded. She turned to open the door "Wait" I exclaimed, I pulled out my phone, then smiled at her "Number" I told her. She smiled and shook her head as she grabbed my phone. She gave me her number then I gave her mine.
She turned to leave again, but I stopped her. "Wait" I said. She sighed jokingly then turned back over to look at me with one brow raised.
I took my chain off and put it around her neck. "Whats this for?" she asked "So that, if anyone trys to mess with her, they know they'll have to deal with me" I told her "Oh, that's sweet Apollo. Thanks" she smiled that pretty smile then got out of the car.
She turned to wave goodbye. I waved back. Then, she walked inside.
What can I say? I need to protect what's mine.
