Juliet covered her mouth as she stood in horror at what I had done. I commanded my man to take care of Chad while I handle Juliet. Of course, they complied.
I quickly walked over to Juliet and put my hands on her shoulders "Juliet I am SO sorry you had to see that-" "You killed him" she interrupted me "You killed him JUST because he didn't give you money" she looked me in the eyes.
"Look, in this industry, you gotta let people know that they can't fuck with you... or else you'll be the one in front of the bullet" I explained to her.
"Why are you in this industry?" she held her hands over her chest. However, I didn't move mine from her shoulders "My dad was in this industry. After he died, I took over. I didn't really have a choice" I tried explaining this to her, but I don't think she fully understood. But, she nodded anyways.
"Besides, what the hell are you doing out here this late? It's dangerous" I let go of her shoulders and furrowed my eyebrows at her "Well, my dad insisted that I immediately get him some snacks because-" I stopped her "Speaking of, have you thought about my offer?" she looked down and looked back up at me with puppy eyes.
"I have. And, as much as I wouldn't like to think it's true, my dad has changed. He's not the man he used to be and I'm tired of being scared everyday" she paused "So?" I ushered her to continue.
She let out a chuckle "That's the funny thing about you Apollo; as dangerous as you are, you make me feel safe. So I'll move in with you..."
I smiled ear to ear "That's great when-" she put her finger up. When she figures out that she's mine she's gonna get a euphoric surprise and a need for an ice pack giving me attitude like that.
"On one condition" I nodded "Promise me that you won't kill my dad" I looked at her confused. She elaborated, "I've caught on to how you are. You're protective. And you're not afraid to kill. But you HAVE to promise me that you won't kill my dad"
I thought for a minute. I really REALLY wanna kill him. I mean who the hell does he think he is? But, I can't lose Juliet. I start to go insane just thinking about her leaving me. I can't take that risk.
