Nick sat down, while the woman behind the desk made a phone call, minutes later the bank manager walked in, then the woman stoop up and pointing to Nick she told the manager "That's the guy", Nick looked confused but maintained his composure, besides his Dad just sent five million dollars to him, so there's no need to fear, he could always call for help. "How may I help you sir?" the manager asked, he was a young man, probably in he's early thirties. "I want to withdraw two million dollars" Nick answered, stunned the manager look at Nick, raised a brow and replied, "Follow me". He walked off, Nick followed him closely, they got to his office upstairs, the manager politely told Nick to Sit, which Nick did, then open one of the drawers in his office he took out some paperwork, gave Nick to fill. After four minutes, he told Nick to wait in his office while he walked out. Ten minutes later the manager was back , "Here is yoir money sir, but please wait a little, there's additional paperwork for you to fill", "ok" Nick replied, he was not bothered, "afterall I'm withdrawing a huge sum of money, so I guess they have to take their time" Nick thought.
About 20 minutes later the manager arrived along with two police officers, they asked him series of questions and then told him they'd be taking him to the police station for further questioning, one officer told Nick, " we just want to make sure your not a scammer, because it is unusual that a person your age withdraw such amount before, I hope you understand?", "Yes sir" Nick replied, "but can I at least call my lawyer?" he asked, "yeah you are free to do so" the first officer replied. Nick pick up his cellphone and immediately dialed he's dad's number, "Hello son" the same voice spoke, Nick was relieved "Hi Dad, um, I got a problem", "what's the problem son?" He's Dad asked, Nick explained the whole ordeal and his Dad told him to be calm and just do as they ask, "I'll make a call to the lawyer closest to you" he assured Nick, "just be calm", "Ok Dad" Nick said, then hung up.
He followed the officers into the car, then they drove to the police station.
