Another bead of sweat trickled down my forehead as I sat silently on my front porch. The wind was light and fresh, and the sun was fading, in return leaving a purple and pink sky.
I checked the watch that dangled from my bony wrist.

Breathing grew harder with each second that flew past my weary eyes. Every thought or feeling Ive ever had danced feverishly through my mind, the clock unwinding, tangling into demented shapes. Haunting me. I tried to focus on breathing, and it was no use. Minutes passed and passed.

And although my life passed so slow, each painful moment stretching on, the minutes turned to dust and floated away to the melting sun.
