Sleepless nights...

Darcy's POV

Dear Diary,
I'm writing this as mum sleeps in her hospital bed. The hospital workers say she has to stay in hospital because of her near death exsperiance. My day basically is the same everyday!
•Wake up & go to school
•Leave school 20minutes early so I can catch my bus
•Take the bus to the hospital
•Go home & eat
•Sleep (Well I say sleep its just basically lying there)
So yeah that's it! As I don't want to bore you I'll write something that no one noes about! I have a crush! His names Liam, Liam King and he's the sweetest. He is one of the only people who knows about my mum and that I'm gonna start a YouTube channel. He's only been in my school for about 6months but I know I can trust him. I love him.

"Mum?" I mumbled shoving my diary in my bag as she began to stir awake. She smiled at me weakly then a doctor came in to give her some medications. How can she smile through this? She's nearly died and is smileing still. That's why my mum is my inspiration no matter what she keeps a huge bright smile on her face.

"Bye sweetie see you soon!" I was snapped out of my day dream to dad stood by the door ready to take me home. I wrapped my arms around her then left with dad.

I went up to my room and began to set up my mums old cameras. I was gonna make my YouTube channel. BabyGlitter.

3...2...1...action!

"Hey Guys you may know me as sprinkle of glitters daughter Darcy. Since my mum has been ill I thought I'd start a channel some when for her to watch if she's ever sat in hospital like she is now" a tear fell down my cheek. "So for this video I thought I'd thank my beautiful mum. Um my mum has been ill for 2 years now with cancer as you will know if you're subscribed to her channel, which If I work out how will link below, she was told 2 years ago she'd only survive a few more months but they were wrong my mums a fighter. A few days ago her heart stopped and she passed on for a couple of minutes and that's when I realised how much she's done for me. I sometimes watch back her old vlogs and videos and see how much of a lovely, caring mother she was to me and still is. I am so lucky. So that's gonna be it today. Mum if you watch this I love you."

After I grabbed my laptop and uploaded it without editing as I wasn't amazing with computers. I'd learn soon. Until the morning I watched old videos as I can't seem to sleep anymore. Sleepless nights is all I get.

I'd just finished getting ready for school when my phone vibrated.

Liam <3- Walk? Meet me in 5?

I smiled strangely at this and butterflies appeared in my stomach fluttering like crazy. Seconds later I replied

Me- Sure see you soon xx

I pressed send. Why did I put kisses! This would ruin our friendship if he didn't like me back, which was probably true. Blushing I put my phone in my bag and left to go meet Liam at our normal meeting spot.

"Hey Darcy!" He called waving at me from the distance.

"Hi!" I smiled running over to him. The rest of our 15minute walk I told him about how mum was and how I uploaded a video and had got 100 views overnight and how I was visiting mum tonight.

"Bye Darcy! See you in spanish! Love you..." He said entering his classroom. Wait. What? Love you! Had he just said loved me. I blushed like a tomato thinking of this on the way to my class.

"Darcy? Why do you look so happy?" My friend Megan asked my smiling.

"Nothing." I lied getting out my notepad and began doodling away. She looked at me strangely then began talking to someone else while I sat there happy. Happy for the first time in a very long time.
