Everything was pitch black. Almost not even black. Just nothing. Nothing was anywhere. Nothing was everywhere. Then I kicked, small dots of light entering my vision. I kicked, once more. It was if something had moved. Color poured into my vision. I was inside of an oval like thing. An egg. It suddenly turned an off-white as my eyes adjusted to the light. I kicked again. I saw a whole star-spattered blanket above me, and 3 whole moons. I looked next to me and saw a small black egg suddenly turn silver. It shook a bit, cracking. Then it broke. It revealed a special dragonet I soon would become friends with. I saw a looming figure stare at me. It had pitch black scales- or so I thought. They were red scales. Just very dark. Amber eyes burned into my soul. I heard a voice suddenly say: "The eggs have hatched, Your Majesty." what's a majesty..? I thought. I squirmed a bit and fell out of the thing that held me. And I just looked up at the sky. It looked empty but also very full. These white dots circled the sky. My vision started blurring and I felt myself flop over.

I turned to look at the the Queen, "The eggs have hatched, Your Majesty." I rumbled as I saw a small jet-black figure with these odd, eerie, large orange eyes. They didn't seem threatening at first, but that's when my life changed, when I figured out it's true nature.

I saw the little menace scurrying around with our most important dragonet. The most important dragonet had hatched an animus that could future tell and mind read. It was amazing. The animus dragonet is named DeathClock, while the other dragonet: "The Menace" is named Wendigo. They got along surprisingly well, more than I expected. Wendigo was a.. special one.. They never ate any greenery, and often would "Accidentally" hurt the other dragonets. One night though, it changed. One of the dragonets didn't show up for dinner. That was normal, we'd normally find them a few minutes later. But this time we searched for 30 minutes, and didn't find that dragonet. So we started worrying. We let the dragonets eat and then searched the rest of the night for the dragonet, we never found them so we reported it to the Queen. The queen just brushed it off and never brought it up again. As we slept, I noticed Wendigo wasn't asleep and was just staring out the window, looking at the sky. I got up and questioned them. They didn't respond. I asked what they were doing up, again. They turned to me. Those large orange eyes glaring at my soul. I question once more. They made no noise but they jumped at me and bit mEEAAAaAAAaAaAH-

                                                          A day later.

Everyone slowly woke up, I twisted my head around to see a dismembered, disheveled body of a Nightwing next to me, of course I looked a little shook. Not remembering what happened last night. Everyone gossips about it, of course. A majority of the dragons thought I did it. I would've murdered them right then and there. I was angry enough. I just didn't. I was starving... I walked out into the hallway and where to most of the dragonets were at. I skipped on over to DeathClock, and we started chatting. I soon heard a door open and saw a orange Rainwing loom over me.

Cliffhanger~
