Three Claws' moment of reflection came to a crashing halt as the human threw his sword to the ground and fell to his knees. The man's screams echoed down into the valley below. Three Claws tilted his head to one side, running his visor through various visual spectrums as he scanned his prey.

The man's heart beat as though it was fit to burst from his chest. Three Claws stopped his visor's scan on an x-ray setting. He watched, and heard, as the man's bones popped and snapped into new positions, growing denser before Three Claws' very eyes.

This Hunt was getting more interesting by the second.

The man's screams deepened into bassy roars and then a howl that echoed back through the forest behind them and down into the valley. Thick, black hair sprouted all across his body. The man's muscle mass doubled, his form stretched out wider and taller to accommodate the increased mass. His features popped, swam, and stretched into a lupine face. Razor-like fangs burst through bleeding gums. Wicked claws popped though splitting finger tips.

The beast stood.

It was now as tall as Three Claws himself and half again as broad. It arched its back, threw back its head, and howled into the swirling snow.

Three Claws' eyes widened in surprise, his mandibles flexing behind his bio-mask.

Very interesting indeed...
