"Bye-bye, little butterfly!" Ladybug watched the little white butterfly fly up as her earings beeped for the third time now. "Well, I've got to go. See ya next time, kitty! Bug out!" She waved towards her partner and swung away gracefully.
Chat Noir watched her swing away, wanting to follow her. This is a normal urge for him to have but normally, he was able to resist because of Plagg's better judgment and his own. This time, however, wasn't one of those times. Chat Noir followed his lady up to his Princess's house. At first, he was confused but then when he saw a quick flash of red light, everything then made some sense.
So, all this time, I was in love with the girl I've first made friends with? Somehow... this all sounds like an anime that I would watch. And I also see the similarities... Marienette and Ladybug are both brave and bold in their own way. Even though Marienette is more on the shy side, it's nice to know that she can be confident too. After all, she has been trying to expose Lila and all her dumb lies. Chat Noir smiled as he leaned his chin on his baton, looking down at Marienette's window.
Uh, Adrien? You seem like a complete stalker right now. Plagg said in Adrien's head.
You're right Plagg, I guess I should stop staring and do something, yeah?
Wait, what!? No! Tikki would kill me! But whatever... you deserve love, kid.
He smiled again to himself and hopped down onto Marienette's balcony. He tapped on her trapped door. Tikki quickly hid as Marienette opened her trapped door.
"Now, what is this black cat doing here at this time of night? Shouldn't you be taking your cat nap since you defeated that Akuma?" She smirked a bit and rested her arms on the balcony floor, standing on the staircase.
"Well, I wanted to make sure that my purr-incess was home safely and unharmed. And why are you up so late as well?"
"Studying for a test soon, Chat. Shouldn't you study as well?"
"I already did, be-fur the attack on Paris, purr-incess. Say, do you think I could come in? It's a bit cold out. I know I'm a cat but my costume doesn't come with fur."
"O-Oh! Of course! I am so sorry!" Marienette stepped down the steps as Chat followed close behind. This was his first time inside of Marienette's room as Chat Noir. He noticed his other self on her walls and chuckled. "What's so funny?"
"Oh, nothing. You just have so many pictures of Adrien Agreste up on your wall. Some would think you'd have a crush on him." Chat smirked. Wait...
Her cheeks flushed. "Wh-What? I totally don't have a crush on Adrien! Wh-Why would I? It's not like he's nice, charming, cute, funny, sweet, kind, or anything! Heh... Heh... Heh..." Oh my god... I am so stupid...! He's not going to buy any of that!
