Urahara looked at both Kurosaki parents as they explained that they both had been sensing spirits as of late. Truthfully he'd been expecting this for years, only he had thought it would occur sooner. With Shiro being born and knowing exactly what the boy had been, Kisuke knew that the sealing had failed on Masaki, but she never seemed to regain her Quincy powers. As for Isshin, the reason he hadn't regained his was because his soul was tied to Masaki to ensure she didn't die. After hearing them both out, Urahara stood up and walked over to Masaki's side.

"Masaki, I would like to check the seal we have on you." He stated softly, he didn't want to frighten her. Gaining a nod from the woman, he had her lay down as Isshin watched. Touching her on her chest near her heart and where her soul core was, Kisuke began to search for the seal and wasn't surprised to find it gone. Removing his hands as he spoke, "it would seem your seal has broken and the hollow within is gone."

"Shiro." Isshin whispered under his breath but was heard.

"More than likely." Kisuke answered. "I suspected that the seal broke when the boys were either conceived or born. Your powers should have returned before now or at least begun to recover." He touched his chin with the tip of his paper fan as he began to think. "The reason could be because of the coma you were in." He looked into her eyes as she sat up. "Do you remember anything of that time?"

Closing her eyes, Masaki began recalling the first memories of her sons coming to visit her but unable to move or speak in any way to them. "I can recall most of their conversations with me as well."

Urahara smiled as something clicked. "You weren't in a coma then. It is possible that when Shiro protected you, your own powers reached out to protect both of your boys only for them to be thrown back at you, putting you into full power shock." Opening the fan, he moved it to cool himself down. "The hollow that attacked you was thrown back as well. When it came back to kill you and the boys killed it, you came out of that shocked state."

"So now her powers are returning?" Isshin asked gaining a nod from his longtime friend.

"This also means the seal keeping your souls bound can be undone and Isshin's powers can return fully." Kisuke seemed happy by these results. "Her soul is no longer in danger of being devoured and within time, Masaki's powers should return fully to what they had been."

Masaki suddenly felt elated, this also meant... "Isshin can go to Soul Society!" Both men looked at her, one in shock while the other in understanding.

"Yes." Kisuke answered.

The fifth had been a bust. Most of the squad had been out looking for the Ryoka while their captain was missing. Kenpachi was currently staring down at the timid Lieutenant Hinamori. The young girl looked truly frightened of the Captain of the Eleventh. She was even shaking slightly. Shiro took pity on her and came up beside Kenpachi. "Hey big guy," causing the frightening captain to look at him. "Scaring the girl won't get you anywhere." He waved the captain off, only for Kenpachi to roll his eyes at the teen in annoyance. Returning his attention to the slightly less frightened girl, he spoke. "Listen, we're just looking for your captain." He pointed at Kenpachi. "He feels like fighting is all." Noticing how she was looking at him, Shiro suddenly felt his own irritation flare. "What?"

"Your eyes..." she spoke as if she wanted to continue but didn't.

"Yeah, yeah, they're freaky as hell. I know." He spoke in his usual sarcastic tone.

"Ah, sorry." Hinamori apologized. "I really do not know where Captain Aizen is." She began to fidget as she stood there waiting to be released from this unusual boy's intense stare. Those eyes... she thought. They look like a hollow's eyes.

"Tch." Shiro turned away towards the group. "I think she's tellin' the truth."

If he is one... Hinamori grasped her sword and pulled it from its sheath. Swinging it at Shiro's head only for the young teen to catch it in mid-swing. How...

Black/gold eyes looked at her disappointingly. "That was stupid." Was the only thing she heard before a blast of energy shot from Shiro's free hand into her chest sending the young woman flying through the air before her body slammed into the training building of the fifth. Those inside looked at the downed lieutenant before looking to see who had attacked her.

Kenpachi began to laugh. "I knew it! You're the strong one!"

Shiro smirked before turning towards the captain. "You have no idea." Looking at his brother he shared an annoyed look with him. Suddenly a scream was heard followed by an explosion.

"What the hell?" Ishida said with worry lacing his voice.

"What was that?" Orihime inquired as smoke rose into the air from the distance.

Chad turned towards the other members of the eleventh. "Is someone else invading besides us?" Causing them to look a bit worried before all of them began grinning like madmen.

Yumichika looked towards Ikkaku, receiving a nod he spoke. "We'll go check it out, Captain."

Kenpachi groaned suddenly. Looking down at his wounds he was sure that he was still bleeding from his fight earlier. "Go." He told the group. "I'll take care of this lot." He turned towards the approaching warriors of the fifth. Before Ichigo and Shiro left he spoke. "After this, I want a fight with you both."

"Sure." Shiro agreed before getting punched by Ichigo in the arm. "What?" he asked sounding confused as he flash stepped after his brother. Neither realizing that a battle was about to happen that would either make them stronger than ever or break them forever.
