"Oh. You don't eat food that are made by others, right?" Jinyoung asked as they entered the kitchen. He just remembered Mark mentioning that the last time they were here. Mark looked hesitant, but he smiled. "I can try eating your food." He said and Jinyoung frowned as they reached the back of the kitchen. Mark looked at him and Jinyoung stared back, crossing his arms. "But what if you don't like it?" He asked. "Then I would be honest." Mark answered. "What if I poisoned it?" Jinyoung asked again, making Mark laugh. "You're not that cruel." He answered again. "Also, you wouldn't get your money and you'll be surrounded by my security in no time." Mark adds.
Jinyoung gives him one last look, squinting his eyes at him as he bites his lower lip. After a few seconds, he nods. "You're sure about this?" He asked and Mark nodded and Jinyoung notices how he took a deep breath. "You're not!" Jinyoung called out, pointing at him and Mark laughed, waving his hands in front of him. "No, no! I'm just nervous." He said with a laugh and Jinyoung sighed, putting his hands on his hips. "It's okay. I'll taste your food." Mark states, sitting on a chair and letting Jinyoung work in the kitchen.

When everything was settled, Jinyoung started cooking. He decided to make a creamy bacon carbonara, something basic but classy. Mark watched him from behind as he worked, admiring how Jinyoung seem to know how to move in his kitchen. He also admired his physic. From Jinyoung's broad back, to his round butt (he stared at that longer than he thinks) and just Jinyoung's overall back. He played with his ring as he thinks about last night. Something clicked last night, something that both of them felt. Minutes felt like hours with just them silent, Mark letting Jinyoung work in silence and Jinyoung focusing on his dish, wanting Mark to give him his honest opinion.
Mark could smell what Jinyoung was cooking and his stomach grumbled. "So, how come you only eat food that you or your mom makes?" Jinyoung asked without looking at him, he added some salt in the pan. Mark scratched his arm as he stands up. "Well, my father owns a company that showcases art and my mom owns a restaurant." He answered. His parent's jobs weren't a secret, everyone in the company knew about it since Mark has invited some employees there before. He stands beside Jinyoung, making sure the other had space to move. "My dad's a terrible cook, so my mom cooked for us and she taught me while growing up." He added.
Jinyoung lets out an amused sound. "You guys are a family of business, huh?" He asked before checking the taste. He nods when he liked it. "What's your mom's restaurant?" Jinyoung asked and Mark smiled, remembering her food. "Ah, it's a Chinese restaurant." He answered as Jinyoung turns the stove off. He gets two plates from below before cautiously putting a fair amount of carbonara on each plate. "How about your parents? What do they do?" He asked and Jinyoung bit his lower lip, his hands shook a bit and Mark noticed this. He was about to say that it was okay not to answer when his phone rang. Mark looks at Jinyoung for a moment before he answered.
"Hello?" He asked in a different tone and Jinyoung glanced up. "Yes, this is he." Mark said in English, shocking Jinyoung. He almost spilled some sauce, but he caught himself. He placed the pan and the wooden spatula down, waiting for Mark. "Oh, no. There's no problem with finding a live band." Mark answered, eyes focused on the ground as he listened to the caller. Right then, Jinyoung was amazed. Mark speaks English so good. "We'll contact you again, thank you." He said before ended the call and looking at the frozen Jinyoung.
"Are you okay?" Mark asked in Korean and Jinyoung blinked, pointing at him with dazed eyes. "You speak English." He said and Mark laughed, nodding his head. "I'm actually Chinese, who works in Korea that can speak and understand Korean, Mandarin and English." He answered and Jinyoung's jaw dropped, he couldn't form any sound. It was only rare for him to meet someone who's has multilingual as Mark. Mark just laughed again before taking a tray from below. "Go sit at our spot last time." He said and Jinyoung just walked, shaking his head as if he couldn't believe that he didn't notice or knew about it sooner.
