One Last Time

"Not Just Yet."

As we walked into the deafening and disastrous cafeteria, I see familiar faces and some new ones too. Its always like this every year, but, somehow I have a slight feeling that this year is going to be different. Ugh.

Everyone is screaming and running around the cafeteria like assholes, what a surprise.

"LOOKING GOOD WITH THOSE SHORTS CAMILA!" Cody says and winks, what a pervert. Cody is my ex and we dated for about a year. We broke up after I caught him sleeping with another girl, it doesn't bother me anymore though. Our relationship wasn't that serious really. We just kissed and played around, but we don't actually get along. I don't understand how we lasted a year. I dont even give two fucks about him, I'm so over him. He is a jerk and doesn't take girls seriously, he has always been like that. He flirts with everyone and thinks that he gets every girl he lays his hands on.

"FUCK OFF CODY! ITS THE FIRST DAY OF CAMP AND YOU ARE ALREADY RUINING IT FOR ME!" I screamed and spit at him at the same time, not a very womanly to do, but, I don't give a fuck, he deserves it anyways.

He just chuckles, like always. I hope this is not how the rest of the camp goes.

"Camila, really? You should be over with him by now." Lauren says and practically drags me to a seat at the very front of the cafeteria.

"I am. He just annoys the heck out of me. Such a fuckboy." I said while sighing.

Lauren wanted to say something else, but was somehow cut off by one of the camp leaders.

"CAMPERS! CAMPERS! SETTLE DOWN! PLEASE FIND YOUR SEAT!" Ally says through the mic. Ally has always been there for me through my hardships in camp, she is in her mid 20's and she looks absolutely gorgeous with her new hair.

"ARE YOU ALL EXCITED FOR THIS YEAR?" Everyone screams like maniacs, indicating that we are. "We are so glad that you chose Gophar Woods to be your partner in order to create great memories this summer. I see that some of you guys are back from the previous years. While, some of you guys are new to this field. Well, we all treat each other like family here," yea right. "and every single day is an adventure. It would be nice to go on an adventure with family right? Hope you all make great memories and great friends this year. Once again, its a pleasure that you chose Gophar Woods and we hope to see you again next year! SO, HOW ABOUT LETS GET THIS PARTY STARTED?" Ally screams with pure excitement.

Ally hands in the mic to another camp leader, Josh.

"WHATS UP CAMPERS?" Everyone screams again. I laugh because we aren't really answering the question we are just screaming.

"Well Well, I see that you guys are very pumped for this year. But, lets settle down first. Ally and the rest of the camp leaders, I'm sure you know all of them right? But, let me just go over their names once more, just in case. Okay, so this is Ally, obviously." he points at Ally and Ally steps forward. "Next to her, is Amanda, then Jaime, followed by Carl, then Dave and yours truly." They all step forward one by one as Josh introduced each of them to us. I thought it was a waste of time because most of us know them by now. I mean, atleast I do.

"You will all be assigned cabins of course and the camp leaders will go around to help you with that. I hope you have a wonderful stay here in Gophar Woods. See you around Campers!" Josh says as the camp leaders began walking around giving the campers information about their cabins.

I was about to chat with Lauren when Josh speaks again, ugh.

"OH! By the way, we have new and special campers this year. Not a lot, but they are group of lads from london and they are just visiting. Hope you will treat them right and you will hopefully see them around." Josh says and puts the mic down helping the other camp leaders distribute information about the cabins.

I am so intrigued by these "special campers". I mean this is the first time we have campers from outside the country. I am so eager to know who they are, how they look like, why are they so special? These thoughts are occupying my mind and its driving me nuts. My gut tells me that they are somewhat going to have a big affect on me, and I am not ready for that to happen. Not just yet.
