(Contiuing on)
I can't believe I just gave him my address like that. Ugh I should of thought that one through. I pulled up in the driveway and parked, rummaging through to find the scripts that she gave us before class. At least I should know which horrid scene we're doing together before I say anything about this project sucking. Act 3- Scene 5. "SHIT!" I screamed before walking through the doors of my house, my book bag swinging forcefully, to find both my parents in the kitchen. {A/N Act 3 Scene 5 is when Romeo and Juliet wake up together in bed and Romeo has to leave but Juliet begs him to stay}
"What was that young lady?" my father asked, looking up from all the papers o the table for a brief second.
"Nothing." I grumbled as I climbed the stairs and started to do my homework which just so happened to be this damn assignment. Not only do I want to do this scene at all but I absolutely don't want to do it with Pendery. Ugh. i rolled over on my bed and decided that a nap would be in my best interests before I have to handle the mess that is Cole Pendery.
--------------------------
"Abby, Abby we have to run the scene. Abby." I felt a light shaking on my arm. I slowly cracked my eyes open to see Cole, sitting on my bed leaning over me. I just nodded and turned over so that I was actually facing him this time, but still laying down.
I yawned a bit before looking up at him again. "Well, you read the scene right?" I yawned again, the water in my eyes starting to blur my vision a bit. I rubbed my eyes and was borderline falling asleep again. He leaned over me again so we were inches apart from each other but I was still a little to dazed to notice.
"I can come back later." he breathed before standing up.
I grabbed his hand and lightly held him in place, since I couldn't really muster up the strength to do anything stronger. "Therefore stay yet. Thou need'st not to be gone." I mumbled, reciting the lines sleepily. He smirked a bit and sat back down. I pulled on his shoulders lightly and layed him next to me so we were looking at each other, face to face.
"Let me be ta'en. Let me be put to death. I am content, so thou will have it so. I'll say yon grey is not the morning's eye. 'Tis but the pale reflex of Cynthia's brow. Nor that is not the lark, whose notes do beat The vaulty heaven so high above our heads. I have more care to stay that will to go. Come, death, and welcome! Juliet wills it so." he spoke softly, slowly caressing my face a lulling me back to sleep. I felt a sensation to my forehead but ignored it and out of impulse scooted closer to Cole so that I was laying on his chest.
----------------------
I woke up about an hour later to find that Cole was still here. And that I was laying on his chest. I jolted up and sat up straight, out of Cole's arm that was draped around me. I muttered a sorry and looked down at my watch that I always had on. 6:47. Gosh it's not even late yet. I looked back over to Cole who was just studying my features.
"Why didn't you leave?' I asked softly, partially embarrassed that I fell asleep on him, literally. He chuckled softly and put his arm back around me gently, pulling me back into his side.
"I told you. I have more care to stay than will to go." He spoke a bit more lightly. My eyes widened at the fact that he was serious. "Why haven't we, I mean, how come we've never talked before now?"
"Two words: Your Girlfriend" i snickered lightly, looking back up to his obviously pained expression. I sat up and reached out to hold his hand. We intertwined our fingers and he looked back at me.
"Why are you so different from everyone else? It's intoxicating." he mumbled, but strill loud enough for me to hear. I looked away for a brief moment but he hooked his index finger around my chin and pulled my glace back to his. "You're not like everyone else."
"Your everyone and my everyone are two very different people. Like cats and dogs. Jocks and geeks. Centers and grounders........."
"....Montagues and Capulets." he breathed leaning in to me. i leaned in as well but we were interrupted by the sound of my front door slamming.
"ABBY! You better be home!" I heard a voice call. "Lexis...." I jolted back and ran to shut my door. I looked back over to a confused Cole and signaled to the window. He got the message and started to push himself out the window lightly, since we were on the second floor. I locked my door and went over to help Cole out window.
"Do you think we'll be able to do this scene tomorrow?" I muttered and he was getting his torso out the window. He fiercely nodded.
"Say the last lines. This is perfect." he muttered. I smiled and freaked when I heard the door jiggle. SHIT!
"O now be gone. More light and light it grows!" I recited quickly. I saw Cole smile.
"More light and light, more dark and dark our woes." He breathed quickly before he moved forward and gave me a quick kiss, that was still full of passion.
We pulled away and he winked before jumping down and running over to his car.
Montague.
{So I loved the way this came out and sorry for all the Shakespeare references. Quick summary. When Romeo and Juliet get married, the same day, Romeo accidentally kills Juliet's cousin and so he (as punishment) is banished from the land and ultimately his love Juliet. So they spend his last night together. When he wakes up he knows that he has to leave but Juliet convinces him to stay until she realizes that if he stays he'll die. And so he leaves but with much sorrow cuz he's leaving Juliet behind. Okay. Fin. Much Love, Ariel}
