"W-What cuts..?" He stuttered, "You know what I'm talking about, Hudson." Noen sighed as Chase sat beside him. "Why did you do it..?" The shorter boy asked lowly, "Why do you even care? You know alot of things happened between us." Chase mentioned. "I just forget them like I usually do. You know I like you, how could I let you continue with that act?" Noen said. Chase looked at the blonde boy, "I did it because I feel like I wasn't enough." Noen laughed, "If you weren't enough, I wouldn't be having feelings for you." Chase scoffed, "You're only saying that." Noen frowned, "Don't make me state why I love you and why I think you're perfect." Chase chuckled, "Because It'll take awhile." Noen continued. "Seriously, why are you feeling that way though?" He asked. Chase sighed before answering. "Because they cheat on me." The elder frowned, "Who?" He asked. Chase laughed, "My exes."

"Well, maybe you're just getting the wrong choices." This hit Chase right in his feels, I mean-who was his right choice?

"I know you paused because I didn't lie." Noen smirked, Chase nodded. "Maybe love isn't just for me." He shrugged, "I don't even believe in love." Noen laughed. "I knew something was off with Cynthia in the first place." Chase smiled, "She deserves someone way better than me." The blonde boy frowned, "She was never worth it at the first place." Noen shrugged. "Do you-um, still love her..?" Chase nodded without hesitating. Noen's hopes obviously went away, 'he's straight, noen. why would you even have hope?' Noen said to himself. "Why do you like Cynthia?" The elder asked, "I think she's perfect." Noen nodded. "Yeah .." The blonde boy's heart shattered. Why would Chase still love someone who literally is homophobic and doesn't give a shit about Chase? She even used him for clout and CHEATED ON HIM. Oh wait, because he's straight. "Why did you come over?" Chase asked. Noen chuckled, "Don't harm yourself over a girl who cheated on you. She's not worth it, don't do self-harm again. Please Chase, I'm begging you." Noen said and opened Chase's front door. Before Chase could even say thank you, he had already left.

Noen had finally arrived home. He didn't know what was that all about so he just simply called Avani. The girl answered instantly, "ME AND PAYTON ARE TOGETHER!" She exclaimed. "That's great.. I'm happy for you guys." Noen said lowly, "What's wrong, Noey?" Avani asked. Noen sighed, "I don't know, I can't let go of him." He continued, "Chase?" She mentioned sadly. Noen nodded in response, "I know it saddens you, but you deserve someone better than Chase. He's fucked up so many times, how could you possibly love him?" She stated. "I know, that's my main problem right now. I fell too hard." Noen groaned in annoyance, "Why would he simply just kiss you? I know he likes you back, he's just being a stubborn bitch." Avani swore. "You have a point but he still likes Cynthia, Just let him be." Noen said, "You're joking. Cynthia is a pure clown, Chase's taste in women is-" Avani made a gagging face, Noen giggled. "Anyways, FINALLY YOU AND PAYTON ARE TOGETHER!" He exclaimed, "I KNOW! I'LL TELL YOU HOW HE CONFESSED. SO FIRST-"

"Chase, stop lying to me." Jaden confronted the boy infront of him. "I'm not lying, I'm straight. I like Cynthia. I like girls!" He exclaimed. "Why did you even invite me here? Just for you to say that? I'd rather leav-" Jaden stood up, "NO! No-No, you stay." Chase said, slightly panicking. Jaden sat infront of the black-haired boy again and rolled his eyes. "So, you're telling me you're not gay when you tried to kiss Noen for like 3 times?" Chase scoffed, "I never kissed Noen, not even once." He lied. "Don't lie to me now, you bitch." Jaden rubbed his temples, "You're so confusing, You don't know how this act hurts Noen so much." Chase rolled his eyes, "He's obsessed with me. I don't know what to do with it." He continued. Jaden chuckled, "You were obsessed with him first, I always catch you stalking Noen's profile." The other boy stated. Chase was silenced, he knew it was true but he didn't want to believe it. "Chase, I'm not forcing you to come out but you're acting like a complete homophobe and nothing's wrong with being gay or being part of the lgbt in general. I know you like Noen, tell him before it's too late." Chase rolled his eyes in annoyance. "I said I'm straight! Get on with it already." Jaden stood up, "Alright then there's no point of me being here." He left Chase's place.

7 MONTHS LATER

After months. Chase coped with his self-harming act and that's because of Noen. "And yeah, it was really amazing." Noen giggled. The two were out on a picnic, "That's good to hear." Chase smiled. "You want more sandwiches?" Noen asked and handed him one from the basket, "No thanks, I'm full." The younger replied and smiled. "Ah okay." Noen smiled back then giggled again. 'that darn smile, the fucking smile' Chase said to himself, "Hey-I know you're straight but I was wondering if you changed your mind and if I could maybe..ask you out?" Noen knew he was going to get rejected, he already felt second-hand embarrassment. Chase laughed, "Wait, is this a joke?" Noen frowned, "Nevermind I-"

"I'm straight, Noen. Sorry.." Chase hoped it wouldn't make the other feel upset or anything so he patted Noen's hair, "Yeah, just forget that happened.." Noen said lowly, The blonde-haired boy then quickly packed the food and shoved it inside the basket. He then stood up. "Wait-wait, where are you going?!" Chase said, slightly panicking. "Home." Noen smiled fakely, he felt so dumb and embarrassed at the same time. "You wanna go stargazing? 10:00pm?" Chase smirked. Noen sighed in relief, atleast that's kind off asking out? He wished. "Yeah!" He exclaimed then nodded. The two eventually parted ways as they both went home.
