Third Person POV

It was just another day starting in Hyakkou, another sad day for Mary and a boring one for Yumeko. Not only for them, but for the rest of girls who see the heir as their friend, or more than just a friend, are suffering the lack of the functional sociopath that came to add spice to their lives.

Just then, the door of the classroom slide to the side, the teacher just behind it holding his book in his hand. Immediately, the entire class went back to their seats while the teacher closed the door behind him and went to his usual spot.

"Good morning" The teacher looked at his book, opening it in the pages that had the content for today's class. "Today we will be reviewing-" He was cut when the door opened again.

Him and the entire class looked at the door, surprise just showed on their faces once they identified her. She was no one but (Y/N), the heir who was supposed to be long gone by now. The heir was just shining, her hair perfectly done, her mother's ring on her left ring finger but the simple aura she emanated, she just looked so relaxed; she wasn't the usual tough-looking and unapproachable heir, this time even Ryouta could describe her as an approachable kind girl just by looking at her.

Everyone just stared at her while she entered the classroom and went to her place, not even bothering to look at the teacher. Meanwhile the teacher really questioned himself if he should tell something about, at the end, he just decided to play it safe and continue his class as normal.

For her part, Mary had a mix of emotions inside her; for one, she was happiest woman in the world, like a dog when her owner comes home even if she is supposed to be a cat, but for the other part, she was so confused about this. Meanwhile, Yumeko was just excited, with (Y/N) back again, the school would just be so fun, even more with the recent additions to the student body.

Time skip: Hours Later

As soon as the recess started, Mary stood up from her seat with just one objective in mind. Unfortunately for her, something inside her stopped her just some steps away from (Y/N), what should she say? Should she ask what happened or should she show her support? Was it that bad in the first place or did she just worry about something without importance?

She took more than she should have taken and Yumeko beat her to (Y/N). "Good morning (Y/N)-san~" The heir looked back to Yumeko. "Some exciting things have happened while you were gone~"

"So it seems" (Y/N) briefly answered before getting her lunchbox out of her bag. "However, I'd prefer to discuss it with a full stomach if you don't mind"

"I don't mind~" Yumeko looked towards Mary "We should eat together Mary-san~" Yumeko was also about to invite Ryouta but stopped once she saw him talking and laughing with Suzuki-san at the other end of the classroom.

(Y/N) caught notice of this and looked towards Ryouta before sighing. "I didn't expect that I would take this long to distance himself from us" The heir stood up, catching the attention of Yumeko. "Shall we go then?"

"Alright~" And so they did, just that instead of going to their usual spot, they chose the second floor of the cafeteria since Yumeko and Mary had to buy her lunch and also, (Y/N) hoped she could see some "familiar" faces along the way.

Unfortunately, they didn't but (Y/N) actually noticed something else, Mary was awfully quiet and always walking behind her. The heir even played a little with her, she would just slow down so Mary would do the same and then she would accelerate the pace to catch up to Yumeko always surprising Mary.
