was that type of girl to not care for a boy. she never wanted to, she wanted to focus on school. her biggest dream was to become a nurse. she never planned on having husband. raine didn't think about it. she wanted to become successful in life and not depending on a man that probably could not even provide with every thing she needed. even though raine was focused on school, she had the worst friend group. they aren't the type to plan in for the future except for the boys. daniel seavey, jonah marais, jack avery, corbyn besson, and zach herron. they already had their life planned ahead, with music and the only stopping them was their senior year. test, quizzes, projects was holding everyone back, but not raine. raine was studying like she had to learn every grade lessons. nothing was stopping her. except for
daniel seavey and heather may. she never thought a boy and a girl could make her miserable for love.
"RAINE BROOK!" someone calls out for her. she looks back and see her bestfriend heather.
"OMG HI! I'VE MISSED YOU" raine says while hugging heather.
"how have you been raine?" heather asks the tan girl.
"i've been good! i went back to hawaii this summer again. it was good to relax before this school year. what did you do?" raine say as the lady in the front office hands me my schedule.
"oh that's fun! i went up to los angeles and guess what?"
"yes?"
"I SIGNED MY FIRST LABEL!" heather and raine squeal in excitement.
"OH MY GOSH THAT'S AMAZING" raine say as jumping around.
"here let me see your schedule." the girl hands heather her schedule.
"oh we don't have any of the same classes except for p.e, that sucks this the first time where we don't have the same classes."
"hey it's fine. we have the same lunch and study hall. we'll be fine." raine says to heather.
heather and raine walk to the rest of their friend group.
"what's up guys!" daniel seavey says as they two girls walk to the rest of the friend group.
all of the friends hug each other. they all talk but finally the bell rings and they all go their separate ways except for daniel and raine.
"hey raine. you look really good today." the blonde boy compliments.
"thank you seavey. i love the hair." she compliments back.
"what's your first class?" seavey asks.
"biology. yours?"
"same!"
the two teens get to their class and sit down right next to each other.

"hey raine!" the boy says as she walks out of the classroom. "meet me after school. can i take you somewhere?"
"sure!"
"okay see ya later."

it's now 3:15. the bell rings and all of the students get up and leave the classroom. raine leaves the gate and looks for daniel. she sees him. she walks towards him and hug.
"hey dani. what do you wanna do?"
"lets go and get ice cream." the blued eye boy says.
daniel starts driving. it's silent but a comfortable silence. daniel takes the chance to put his hand on her thigh. he looks at her and smile. raine liked it, if she was being honest. she would like to date daniel and daniel only. he was such a gentleman and knew how to win over a girls heart.
the car ride has ended and they end up at 'monty's ice cream'. their favorite place, especially because it's by the beach.
they walk in and raine walks up to where all the ice cream flavors are.
"hello. i would like a double fudge ice cream in a cone."
the employee scoops her ice cream and hands it to her. daniel just got a vanilla cone.
just as raine is about to pull out her card daniel hands the employee cash.
"keep the change." the boy says.
"i could've payed."
"no it's fine."
the two walk to the sand of the beach. they sit down on the sand just talking. hours go by and it's dark. raine shivers, she thought to herself that she should've brought a sweater.
"here take my sweater."
"are you sure?"
"yeah you're cold."
"okay. thank you."
they talk still and a figure walks by them. it's heather. daniel's eyes light up. they way she looks by the fire. daniel's breath is taken away. and that's when raine knew that daniel liked heather and not her.
