Killer Academy

Chapter 2

After they manage to calm a few people down he continues to speak. "You will not be returning home," what!!! I zone out for the rest of the talk just thinking about the fact of never returning to my family. How will me little sister cope! She's so young, i cant stand the thought of it. I stare into space and don't notice the time flying bye as everyone begins to stand. "ok so now we'd like to see what you've got! Here are your daggers." we are handed silver and wooden fancy daggers.

"You'll be taken to a room And MUST kill what is inside. Got it?" everyone nods. "if you fail to do this you will be put in a room and murdered!"

They take us to rooms and direct us to a door. Ok this is gonna be easy! I mean it's probably just a rat or something they want us to kill! Right? I hear the sound of the whistle, take a deep breath and grab the handle. It's only a rat! It's only a rat. I step into the door to reveal a dark room with just some light from a small window high on the wall.

"Wh...Who's Th... Th... There?" I suddenly freeze as I stare at the little girl who just spoke. They want us to kill a human!!! I feel my lips tremble and my heart literally stops as I meet her eyes. She's only about six years old and she looks so scared. Her cheeks are tear stained and she's huddled in the corner trembling. I can't do it! I can't kill a human! Why would they do this? What did she do? She looks innocent enough to me. I wonder what the others are thinking. They really can't expect us to do it right? I hear faint screams from other rooms. WRONG! I can't believe others are actually killing them. I can't, I can't! But I must! The tears i've been trying to hold in start to streams down my face. I gather up my courage and stop my body from shaking. "I'm sorry!" I say before lunging forward.
