Killer Academy

chapter 4

Hey, so i thought i'd update every two or three days, but i'd still like it if you could vote and leave comments on any ideas you have or dislikes. i'd also like to let you know that im only 13. so i am not the best at writing thanks! enjoy the new chapter.

I stand in front of the cracked mirror brushing my long wavy red hair. I hate my hair it always gets so tangled. I flinch as I brush through a knot. I turn on the cold tap for the shower, i like cold showers when I'm depressed. I quickly wash my dirty, grubby body. Making sure to scrub my hands. I wash my face and Jump out of the shower.

I dry myself off and plat my hair back out of my face. I grab the plain brown shirt and white woolen shorts they gave me for my pajamas. I look back in the mirror and see that my eyes are red and puffy. I give them a quick rinse in the sink. Soon enough they're back to they're usual golden colour with red flecks.

I hear a knock at the door then Lexi yells. "Rose, get out!" I quickly gather my stuff and exit. "How long do you take?" I shrug and put my stuff on the small bed they said was mine in our dorm. I then jump on it and spread out.

"Why are we here?" I ask.

"To kill people." replies Hunter.

"No!" I say sitting up. "I mean, why? Why do we have to kill these people? What did they ever do?" no one replies. Lexi just stares at the ground. "I miss my family. I miss my house. I even miss SCHOOL! I miss my life." I feel a tear stream down my cheek. "She was a little girl!"

"You had no choice, Rose! It's ok!" Nathaniel comes over to comfort me.

"But I did! Can you keep a secret?" They all nod. "I didn't kill her!"

"WHAT?!!!" Lexi yells. We spend the next half an hour telling each other our stories.

"He was an old man, he said 'make it quick' and looked directly in my eyes and then he asked me... He asked 'just please don't hurt her.' I asked him who? And he said his daughter was in the next room. Then he took my dagger off me and I thought he was gonna kill me but he plunged it straight in his heart!" Lexi finishes her story and wipes her tears.

"So what are we going to do?" I ask.

"We could escape!" says Jasmine.

"Maybe!" hunter says.

"Or... We could stay and save their lives!" Nathaniel says.

"Nathan, your a genius!" I say smiling so hard my cheeks hurt.

"What if they catch me?! I mean us!" Jasmine asks. "Well at least we would die nobly... Think about it we could save hundreds of lives!" Lexi says.

"I'm in!" says Hunter placing his hand in the middle of us five.

"Me two!!" Lexi says.

"Me three!" Nathaniel says with a grin.

"I don't know why we're here! But it's not to kill. It's to save lives! Count me in!"

Then we all look at Jasmine. "Well... Did you see what they did to that boy?"

"Are you in or not?!" Lexi asks.

"I can't!" she says. I can see Lexi fuming. I give a slight chuckle before saving Jasmine's life.

"That's ok! But you still can't tell anyone!" I smile.

"Thanks!" she says.

"Room 36 on 3!" Hunter says.

"3..." Nathan says.

"2..." Lexi says in a sing song voice.

"1..." i finish

"36!" we all shout and lift up our hands. For the rest of the night we all talk, laugh and get to know each other. We end up having a pillow fight and playing truth or dare. Jasmine dared me to kiss Hunter, I dared Lexi to run down the hall screaming. She got told off by a lady!

"Nathan, truth or dare?"

"Truth."

"Do you like Rose?!" then she winks at me. Oh god Lexi. She's like a typical half mad best friend. Then I notice Nathaniel staring at me. I just shrug my shoulders to say 'I had nothing to do with this. "Well..." Lexi pressures him.

"Yes I like her!"

"No! As in love her!" Lexi screams.

"Geez Lex! No need to scream." hunter exclaims holding his ears.

"Lex? Really?" I ask.

"It's ok! You can call me that, although, in my opinion Lexi is already a short name!" Lexi smiles.

"So?..." she nudged Nathan.

"Lights out!" a voice booms. We look at the door to see a lady standing there, her hands on her hips. We all scramble into our sheets. "You were meant to be asleep an hour ago. Training tomorrow!" and with that she walks away. We all burst out laughing.

"Go to sleep!" she yells out from down the hall. We all stay quiet and about two minutes later when we're sure she's gone we all start to laugh again, I laugh so hard it becomes painful.

"Night!"

"See you tomorrow!"

"Sweet dreams!"

"Good night!" I roll on my side because I find it more comfortable. I close my eyes and think about the eventful day. The academy, watch out! Room 36 is ready and we're never going to back down!
