Chapter 4 - The PAX Predicament

Smarty's PoV

So PAX had finally come around the corner, and we ended up staying in a pretty nice hotel near the convention. Each room had 2 beds, which meant we got 1 room since, well, the rooms weren't that cheap to say the least. Everyone unpacked a bit of their luggage, just what they would need for the time being like laptops and stuff.

I sat on one of the beds sinking into it since it was so soft, even the velvety white covers were nice. For a minute I just looked around the room to take it all in- the gold painted walls, the giant windows with crystal clear glass and white curtains with gold fringe that were pinned to the side making that nice draped look. The doors to the hall and bathroom were more of a darker wooden colour that matched the colour of the borders of the windows. The carpet was nice too, it was white, a clean bright white. There also was a flat screen T.V. and a clear desk for whatever I guess.

I finally looked up and asked,"So who gets what bed?" Ze sat down next to me and said. "I dunno. We only got one room so obviously were gonna share beds and someone might have to sleep on the floor." Galm suddenly cut in with,"Well, I don't mind sharing a bed but I can sleep on the floor. It's kinda whatever." Ze continued,"Okay, so i guess it'll be Chilled and Smarty in one bed, and then me and Tom in the other?" "I mean, I'm fine with that." I said. "yeah, I am too I guess." Tom replied. At this point everyone was kind of talking in a circle, Ze, Tom, and I sitting on the bed and Chilled and GaLm standing up. Soon we were all talking about uploading and joking about random video games. I stood up and furtively whispered to Chilled, "So when do we tell them?" as he replied,"Wait wha- ooh later, later." Hah. I guess he forgot about the secret for a second. I guess nobody really noticed until I saw Tom mouthing something to me. he didn't seem mad or anything though, he had a knowing smirk on his face. "Well, I'm gonna go see if I can find a store to go and get something, anyone wanna come along?" Suddenly Tom and Anthony shot out a "I do." at about the same time. I gave them a smile and told them to come on as I held the door open.

As I shut the door, Tom said, "So what was that whispering all about?" with a smile. "Well...we kinda-" I started but Chilled suddenly pulled me over and passionately kissed me. I was pretty shocked and a blush spread across my face but I melted into it. Before I knew it, it was over and I was sad that it was so short lasting but I knew that it was for the best since we just kissed in front of Tom. "So yeah...just don't tell anyone" I ended, rubbing the back of my neck which was pretty warm. "I knew it! And, I wont. I swear." he shouted, but instantly regret being that loud, as Ze and Galm suddenly look out of the door. "You guys still haven't left yet? And wait what Tom?" "Oh umn..." Tom trailed off in thought, probably trying to make someting up. Tom whispered to me, "You owe me one." and I stood puzzled but not for long as Tom suddenly kissed Ze, and it seemed they both were enjoying it. I whispered to Chilled,"Hmm...you don't think-" "probably." he replied. Ze and Tom parted as he said, "Ze i- I-" "I know." Ze replied with a smile and a blush.
