Maya's first day on the job was more grueling than she thought. The place was exceptionally harder to clean due to the massive area. It felt almost impossible to do it all on her own, luckily, Riley had assigned her to do certain rooms on certain days to lessen the work load. Maya couldn't even imagine trying to clean the whole place in one day.

Maya sat down on one of the kitchen's stools and let out a huff. She was so tired and drained from her first day of work that she didn't even notice the brunette standing only couple feet away from her.

"Exhausting huh?" He asked with a smirk on his face.

Maya let out a slight squeak in fear as she was taken off guard by his sudden presence.

She raised her head to see Lucas Friar.

She suddenly thought back to all the tabloids about Riley and Lucas dating. The press always seemed to find out every celebrity's secret, no matter how hard they tried to hide it from the world.

Maya never knew much about Lucas except that him and Riley were caught out on a few outings. Riley never confirmed her relationship with the small town southern lad and always seemed to keep everyone guessing including Maya, until now.

"Oh uhm h-hi .. Mr ...Friar." Maya responded anxiously.

Lucas let out a chuckle at the blonde's demeanor. "You can call me Lucas, I'm not really into all of the professional talk." He said with his words thick with an country accent.

Maya gave him a slight smile. "Okay, Lucas."

Lucas took a seat opposite to Maya and she watched as he took a sip of what she presumed was coffee.

She wondered why he would be drinking a energy drink at the dwindling hours of the day, but was also so caught up in his looks.

Everything on him seemed so.. perfect. His piercing brown eyes with specs of green would make you wonder the kind of person behind them. His perfect chiseled jaw and blinding white teeth would make any girl fall at his feet. He was even better looking in person compared to the poorly taken paparazzi photos. She understood why Riley would be so infatuated with him.

"You okay there love?" He asked.

Maya had no idea that she had completely zoned out admiring the man. As she was about to reply a familiar face had walked in.

The cheery faced Dove made her presence known as she leaned her body up against the kitchen counter. "I see you've met the "charming" Lucas Friar." She teased.

"I see you've met the "beautiful" Dove Cameron." He replied mockingly.

Dove smiled brightly before exchanging it for more tight lipped grin that made her dimples poke out ever so slightly.
