Hyunjin hated himself. On so many levels. First, for getting him and his brother kicked out of the house all those years ago. Then for becoming a male prostitute. Then for allowing himself to become apart of Jisung's life, only to hurt him. Then for hurting his little brother AND lying to him.

He was currently lying in Jisung's bed, staring at the dark ceiling. The younger thought he was asleep but he wasn't and he didn't see himself sleeping anytime soon. Jisung had brought him back to his house for fear that if he was brought back to his apartment without supervision he would try something again. Hyunjin hated that he had had to see that part of him. He had promised it would never happen again.

All he ever did was let people down.

He wasn't good for Jisung.

He wasn't good for anyone.

Jeongin would probably be better off without him.

"Jinnie?"

Light fell on the bed, streaming in from the hallway. The light was accompanied by a soft voice that Hyunjin would recognize anywhere. The light disappeared.

"Hyung." the bed to his left sank down slightly and Hyunjin tiredly turned to meet the eyes of his younger brother. "Hyung, Sung called me. He said he found you wondering the streets alone and cold."

Hyunjin looked away. Why would Jisung lie?

"Hyung I'm so sorry. I realize that you were just doing it to provide for us. It's hard to get a solid job without college. And I realize now that Mom and Dad aren't willing to provide for us-" Hyunjin say your straight in his bed.

"How did you know about mom and dad?" he asked, his eyes wide.

Jeongin pulled something out of his pocket. It lit up his face and Jeongin turned it to face him. It was then that Hyunjin realized that it was his phone and he was reading his texts he had had previously with his parents. Hyunjin looked down.

"Jeongin I-"

"Hyung, hyung. It's alright. Honest. I get it now." Jeongin smiled lightly and leaned forward, embracing his older brother.

Hyunjin returned the embrace.

"You should go. Go. You have school tomorrow." Hyunjin pulled back, allowingg rexf Jeongin to stand.

"Are you going to come home with me?" Jeongin asked.

"I'll be there soon. I have some things to clear up here I think." Hyunjin said, glancing at the door.

Jeongin nodded before making his way to the door. "I'll see you soon hyung." Hyunjin hummed and waited a bit until he heard the front door close.

He tossed the blankets to the side and climbed out of the bed, making his way to the door. Just as he was about to open the door from the inside, it swung open from the outside, revealing a nervous Jisung.
