in the Palace of Atlantis , unaware of her Birthday she's forgotten, a young mermaid named Lena, who was in her Garden with stuff that she and her sisters found in Shipwrecks.
she turned 18 years old and was supposed to be practicing her rehearsals for the party. Her long brown hair flowed behind her like a veil as she flicked her dark blue tail while she kept swimming.
Lena sighed as to finally turned Eighteen. there was a law under the Sea, no merman or mermaid was allowed to the surface before becoming of age.
She started swimming towards the Palace Court, unaware that she was being watched by two sea snakes belonging to the Sea witch named Sirena.

she watching the princess from her crystal ball and said "Yes, Hmm, Yes, your birthday has finally come little princess." she is half woman, half Octopus.
She summoned her Sea snakes named Luka and Nuka. "Keep an eye on Lena please and make sure there's no harm." the two nodded and swam out.
Meanwhile back in the Palace, Lena was being reprimanded by her parents for being late.

"I just exactly don't know what we're going to do you young lady." Nereus calmly exclaimed as he's telling Lena why she's late.
"Where were you Dearest." Lia said as she swam to Lena and she said "I was Exploring shipwrecks, mother, they had wonderful stuff to place in our garden."
"Just next time remind us where you are, okay." Nereus said as Lena nodded.
she swam with her parents to celebrate her Birthday with the kingdom. she sat with her sisters and Aunt.
"My people, as you all know it is our youngest daughter's 18th Birthday. the day she's no longer a child and she's ready to become a true mermaid and be freed from our hands"
All Mer-people started to cheer loudly. as Lena said "Farewell." she swam faster up to the surface like a dolphin.
