"fuck. fuck fuck fuck!"
nancy was probably off to work two hours ago but mike had woken up late and he had less than 10 minutes before school started. he swiftly got changed into his dark blue sweater and khaki pants. he smoothed his messy bed hair before rushing to brush his teeth. mike ran downstairs and got a breakfast bar before zooming off to school. mike's lucky his school is only 3 minutes away.
"bye mom!" he yelled before leaving.
before mike could go on his bike a familiar voice yelled from behind him.
"mike need a ride?"
he looked back and see jonathan behind him with will in the passenger seat.
"you sure it's okay?" mike asked.
"yeah come on you guys are gonna be late!" he replied.
mike looked at his bike and then to jonathan's car. he then sighed and quickly went inside the back seat.
"thanks jonathan."
"no problem."
jonathan wasted no time to drive off to school.

"come on will!" mike yelled while dragging him through the large crowd hand-in-hand.
they ran to their homeroom and met up with the rest of the group who were already walking to 10A.
"woah was mike just late?" lucas stared at him in disbelief.
"yeah yeah whatever." mike retorted.
"mikey!" eleven squealed while hugging mike from behind.
"oh hey el!" he smiled and wrapped his arms around her arms.
will stared at the couple and felt enraged. he had his hearing aids today so he could hear their conversations. he put his hands into tight fists wanting to hit something. why am i even mad? it's not like we're dating. will thought. mike notices will staring and gave him a look that said "you okay?". will nodded but mike knew he was lying.
