Guys,it's been wayyyy to long. I forgotten how much I love writing this, but also how hard it is to write. But I'm DETERMINED. Also the help of Pandora for playing my musical playlist. I'm really sorry how short this is. Love you all. Especially you there. Yah you there, Alex!

Hornigold isn't exactly the most honest man. He lies, he steals, he is a cheat, and he's quite a horrible drunk, yet he is the closet thing to a brother I think I ever had and on this day, we would be finally getting off of this ship! After 4 months of sailing, finally I get to step on sweet, sweet land, but with going on land came a price. My freedom would be limited, because the minute I stepped on land, my training would begin.
Finally, I heard the cries, raising of the mast for a more peaceful landing, the running feet of the men above me. We had made it to land. By the time I got to main deck, I saw her myself, The land I heard Edward call, The Bahamas. I saw lush green forest that stuck out like a thumb to the blue color of the ocean and brown of the boat I'm so used to. The air smelled so fresh! Everything about this place was a wonder.
Finally, the ship stopped and men started getting off the ship. I was so mesmerized by the land, I forgot to get my things packed! I ran to The lower decks and ran to my section. I then threw everything in a chest that had been waiting to be filled for 4 months now.
When the chest was full, I picked it up and brought up to the main deck. I took a minute to breathe, then started again.
My legs wobbled on my first steps on land. I was not used to stillness, I was used to the rocking of the boat. But, I was on land! Edward and the rest of the crew watched in amusement, possibly imagining their first time stepping onto land after their first boat trip. But soon the laughter ceased and only Edward had a grimace on his face.
"Now Kid, get some stuff ready and start your hike." I stared at him for a second, but then quietly nodded. It had to better than the streets.
I quickly gathered a few supplies and threw them into a burlap sack. It was odd that we were hiking instead of going into town, but I didn't dare question Edward. He may of had that paternal feeling about him, but he definitely emitted a force of power.
I finished filling the bag and walked towards Edward.
"The men and I will make our way to the harbor by boat, and you will be getting to the harbor through the wild. Am I clear?," I nodded,"We'll see you in five days. Good luck, my son. "
Just like that, the sailors started getting back onto the ship, their eyes reverting in my direction. For a moment, Hornigold and I locked eyes. I swore I saw a look in his eyes that was like he was never going to see me again. It was a look of pity, sadness, and what seemed to be memories from his past. I smiled at him and nodded. He snapped from the pitiful look and nodded back.
I looked towards the wild and started walking, only looking back at the beginning of the jungle ahead of me.
