"Can I have this?"
"No"
"How about that?"
"Still no"
"Ohh doesn't that look cute! I want it"
"No"
He was getting grumpier each second passed, and the little pinkette pointing her fingers at every toy she sees weren't helping.
"But why?"
"That is expensive"
"A pen is expensive?"
"Yes"
"Oh, I ran out of space on my notebook. Can I buy another one?"
Not that she'd mention why it ran out of space when it was only just the beggining month of school.More than half pages of her notebooks were filled with doodles of her and the akatsuki that's why.
"Fine.Only 1 sheet and let's go" He grabbed the nearest notebook he could see and tore out a single page then stuffed it inside his pocket.
"B-but..."
---
"Waaah! Look Kaku-nii, Santa gave me a jar of candies! But it's not christmas yet..."
He hid a sloppy smile. She was already oggling how pretty it was to eat.
He bought it actually the moment he used a stupid excuse to go to the restroom earlier at the mall.
And upon their walk to home, he secretly placed the jar of sweets inside the pink backpack she had carried from school.
But spending time with the pinkette had made him learn something.
Her smile was the only thing that could never be bought with money.
