The two were having a good time, being awkwardly in love and such, and just overall having a good time. Boxman then looked out the window and saw the sun was almost down.
"Oh Cob! It's so late!" Boxman exclaimed.
"Yeah, it is, hey, if our parents are okay with it, wanna spend the night?" Venomous replied.
"I mean, ask your mom. I don't need to ask mine, she's never sober enough ever to care about me really, only on school mornings does she come to check on me. Right now she's most definitely at a bar because its Friday."
Venomous paused as Boxman talked about his mom, looking to the right in pity. "I'll go ask my mom. We can continue to talk about this when I come back. Just sit tight." Venomous said when Boxman finished his sentence.
While Venomous ran downstairs to talk to his mom, Box looked out at the sun setting above the trees. The now deep orange circle just sinking below the tips of the leaves at the top of the tree, the sky fading from a deep yellow near the sun to a blue as you scanned across the sky.
"Good news!" Venomous said, interrupting Boxman's moment of tranquility. "You can spend the night!"
