starr smiled sadly as she stared at the note. she stopped finding the notes disturbing after the eighth note, the thought of someone selling their soul just to blow her back out somehow turning her on, leaving her wet and ashamed, but she didn't care.

everyone has a bit of weird in them, she thought, trying not to make herself feel bad for liking someone she's never seen, and could possibly be a danger to her and the other students as she was convinced she wasn't the only target.

now, she wanted nothing more than to meet this hhj guy. or woman, she thought. either works for me, to be honest, she thought again, hoping that he wasn't a killer-

"you good starr-"

"ah!" she jumped in fright. "felix!" she slapped his chest like she always did whenever he scared her, causing him to laugh like he usually does after she slaps him.

"never get's old," he smiled while she frowned at him, quickly putting inside her locker but felix snatched it, making her gasp in horror. she fought to get it back, but felix's smile dropped and she froze, wondering how he would react.

his eyes met hers and she gulped.

"...it's not what you think-"

"this person's definitely dead."

"wait fe, i can explain-"

"explain what? why didn't you tell me you were being harassed?!"

starr pouted at the hurt in his voice and he pulled her into his arms, his smell bringing a sense of calm over her which made her let out a huff. she hated how her body always betrayed her during times like these.

"fe. it's not what you think," she said again, words muffled against his chest. "i actually-"

he pulled away and rested his hands on her shoulders, looking down at her with so much care.

"don't worry about it alright? i'll find this motherfucker. for now, let me take you home," he said, deepening his voice at the end. starr groaned.

"no fair! you know how i feel about the sexy, deep ass voice!" she whined.

felix only smiled at her and took her textbooks from her grasp before the two made their way towards the exit.

"you'll miss classes," starr mumbled, trying to take her books back but felix swatted her hands away, making her pout again.

"who cares. let's get a few pizzas before heading back to yours."

starr chuckled. "a few?"

"yeah. i got other other friends too you know? unlike you."

"shut up," she smiled, playfully bumping her shoulder with his and watched him laugh before giving him the keys to her vehicle.
