The child, the child!
The oh sweet child!

They waited alone in a world
of beings stronger than gods. Yet it was unsatisfied
They were ignored, shoved aside to play aloft.

They wanted company, oh company they want!
As they were distraught with such a thought.

They looked down on the worlds created for
amusement and games to the celestial beings.
They wanted to be apart of it! Oh how it wished.

Now look at what happened.

They traveled too far, all in a
desperate act.

In search for a friend...

¤~-----~¤

Who was that? What were they doing in the void? Why did they even as to speak? They don't belong in this multiversal world, they shouldn't even be given a right to even live in such a wonderful place. They've been watching, oh yes they have. As they loomed over the place and attended the ceremony they had. FATE and DESTINY hadn't even known! That's right, they're an outcast. Forgotten by the world above.

How long have they been gone? How long has it been since they talked to someone? Why did they call for help, when they know that it won't ever be answered? It didn't matter if they existed or not, their cries or calls will forever be nonexistent to those who felt remorse nor pity. There are those who would reach out and help answer those cries, but will there be such a being who would do that for them?

Of course not. What silly nonsense. There is no hope for such pitiful beings.

<___>

Core could have sworn they felt something, echoing through the codes of their multiverse, a voice calling out for help... But such silly nonsense can wait. Death has finally started moving after eons of disappearance. How would his brother react? How will Reaper react to another him? It surely was uncommon as most multiverses only had one Reapertale, but who said they were normal?

No matter. But what made him finally get out of their safe haven from the realities of the war that was going on in the multiverse?

Reaper actually confronted them as he asked why did he as to felt another being with magic such as his, for he knew that Ink was not allowed to have an intent to create with his magic, because if he did break that law forced upon him. He would surely perish bringing the multiverse down along with him.

But Reaper's question was not answered as Core could only tell him that time would tell. Plus, they didn't want to deal with anymore bullshit than they already have to, the damned Creator won't stop going everywhere to find something to do. But... something felt wrong in the multiverse for oh so long, but now the feeling has spiked up just a few moments ago, and now she can finally confirm their hypothesis.

The feeling came from the Void. Why did it came from there?
It's strange... it's almost as if they felt another‐ being in there, but it should be impossible! Well, not quite as impossible as Ink actually agreeing to the truce. They still don't know how Ink managed to make it this long with that short term memory loss of his when he didn't have a soul. Seriously, how did he become the leader of the multiverse at some point? There are some things that Core would never know anymore. Then again, what did they have to lose?

Error felt something come out of a space, It felt like Geno's Savescreen but... he felt something strangely familiar about it, especially the magic that came from a being with similar magic properties as Reaper, but it almost felt like something entirely different from Reaper completely. Like there was a barrier, separating the two's magic abilities which are so similar but at the same time, not at all?

Error pondered the possibilities until he finally reached a conclusion, one that he hoped wasn't true. Could Death be...? If he was, how would react to who he is now? Will he shun him? Cast him aside? But of course he will, no being can love such a hideous monster such as himself. But no matter what happens, he cannot afford to see him again. Seeing him again will only make his soul yearn to feel his touch once more, he wants to embrace his past friend once again, and cry sorrowfully as he apologizes for not being there for him like he promised.

He feared that Death will only love his past self, and leave him alone only for his soul to wilt away, burn away like ashes in the night. Only to find a hollow shell of what he once was. He pushed the matter to the side as he thought back again to the little skeleton child in the VOID, how did he appear there, wasn't his code supposed to erase? He should just ignore it, like any other monster/person would do, because if he were to help, his code would be erased as well.

But  he couldn't do that, the child called to him for help. And help he was gonna get. Error already knows the child is in the void near his favorite stargazing spot in Outertale. Now all he needs is a little help from his acquaintances... Now, for the search. The clock is ticking, how will DEATH stop Error's inevitable end? Or is things not what they seem...?
