Chapter 12

HOSHI

"Yeah. After you jump, put your right hand to your head." I said and the others followed me. "That's right. For now, let's end the practice right after the pre chorus of the song." I said and sat down, clearly drenched in sweats.

"Kwon Hoshi, Catch!" I turned to my left and that's when I knew I'll be throwing a fit, Dokyeom hitted me with a bottle full of water!

"DOKYE-----" I was cutted when S.coups butted in,

"Shut up, you're all so noisy. Hoshi, wipe your sweats. You stink." I grinned at his remark but did what he said anyway.

"There's still food but I think it's not enough. I'll go buy." Joshua hyung said and I looked at him.

"I'll have a triangle kimbap." I said and drank my water.

"Jun and I will come too." Myeongho stood up also grabbing Jun's wrist. Jun hyung whined at the sudden grasp and said he doesn't want to come because he's tired.

"Shall I flying kick you?" Myeongho threatened.

"Yes! Yes! Do it!" I cheered.

"Ah, do it to you? Okay." I quickly ran away from him and heard the members laugh.

"I mean to Jun hyung." I said and fake cried.

"Whatever. Let's go now, Joshua hyung. I'm hungry." Myeongho said and grabbed both Jun and Joshua hyung's hand.

When the 3 went out, I took out the food in the cabinet just beside the speakers. I laid the food in the ground and the others quickly went to it and started digging.

"This is so delicous." Mingyu groaned at the savour of the food he cooked.

"You cooked that, Mingyu hyung." Dino said.

"Right, and it's delicious." Mingyu hyung and laid his headonto Wonwoo's shoulder. I felt disgusted at the sight. Wonwoo frowned at the sudden action of Mingyu and slid beside me, making Mingyu's head lose balance and nearly fell.

I burst out laughing and soon the others followed. That was embarrassing. Pfft.

Jeonghan hyung told us to start eating so all of us, except for the other 3 who went to buy more food, started eating in peace. It was natural, we really eat in peace. We were facing the mirror, our backs facing the door.

"SORRY!"

What was that? I looked at my members. They were looking at the door, frightened and confused. I also looked at the door behind me, the door was swinging left and right, indicating someone opened the door.

"That voice.. It sounds like a girl." Woozi said and the others nodded.

"Maybe it was one of the trainees?" Seungkwan pointed out possibilities.

"How come? Trainees knew we own this practice room. They wouldn't barge in like that too, they usually knock first." Woozi replied at Seungkwan.

Then we fell at silence. Altogether confused and puzzled. Who was that?

"The voice sounded familiar though." It's true. I think I already heard that voice.

We went back to eating and minutes later, the door busted open and it revealed 3 persons; Joshua hyung, Jun hyung and Myeongho, holding plastic bags filled with foods.

"What's with the gloomy atmosphere?" Joshua hyung asked.

"When we we're eating, we heard someone say sorry and the door was left swinging. It looked like he or she took a peek inside this room and quickly apologized when she saw someone." Wonwoo explained.

"Oh? When we were about to get into the elevator, we almost bumped, me rather, to a girl." Jun hyung explained.

"Did she wear a blue ID? or a silver bracelet?" Woozi asked.

"None of the above." Joshua hyung answered and sat down. "We talked with the CEO for a bit. Have you seen the banner outside? CEO is hiring a new manager for us, our past manager resigned because of personal reasons. Today is the interview and I think that person you're talking about is interviewed and toured the building. Don't worry." Joshua hyung reassured us so we let out a sigh and smiled. He smiled back at us and we started eating again.

JIEUN

I wanted to vanish. That's literally embarrassing. I didn't know someone is in the room. I walked back to the room where my older sister is in. I knocked and the door opened, Jihyun unnie arching her eyebrow.

"You toured the building quick. Way to quick." She doubted.

"Hello to you too," I greeted. "I used a lot of braincells in the interview." I said and sat in a chair, yawning.

"You still sleep a lot?" She asked. "Oh, neverm--" I fell asleep without letting her finish her word.

"Yow, Sis!!!" I felt someone shaking me, so I opened my eyes to see my sister crossing her arms. "You slept for like hours now, aren't you going to eat?"

"Nah, pass." I said and got my cellphone and earphones. Playing Smile Flower by Seventeen, I fell back in dreamland, again.

"Damn this kid, Wake the hell up!" I, once again, woke up from my sleep.

"What.. now?" I yawned with my eyes still closed.

"She looks so cute~~" Who's that? I forced my eyes open and saw the girl infront me who opened the door first earlier.

"What? Cute? My sister? That brat is so ugly." I heard my sister answer to that girl's remark. I rolled my eyes.

"Coming from you." I said.

The girl infront of me smiled. "Hi! I'm Yena, a makeup staff." She said and extended her hands for a handshake.

I accepted her hand, "Oh, the name's Jieun." I smiled back.

"Heard you're not eating yet, here," She handed out a paper bag. How thoughtful of her, unlike that girl who share the same blood with me.

"You don't have to bother, but thank you." I thanked her and bowed.

"My pleasure." She said and giggled.

"Sis? We'll be leaving after an hour." Jihyun unnie suddenly said.

I made an okay sign before proceeding to eat the food Yena unnie bought for me.
