Finally it was day for oath ceremony and a holiday was declared for college to look into preparations. Everyone were excited as this ceremony will be always grandly celebrated. Juniors were excited to see how SPACE celebrates any event. Some were excited to hear Nandini singing which she promised she would do.
The college entrance was decorates for audience to tell the SPACE 2019 First Celebrations. Ceremony was being held in auditorium as it is big enough for people to accommodate. Canteen was totally changed. All the seating tables were kept aside and dinner was arranged there. Every year The Malhotra's were chief guest for this ceremony, manik is exception. This year too they were only chief guests. Everyone thought that Malhotra's were upset that manik was not president this year. But who knows how much happy they were.
Flashback:
After informing aaron, manik left for home. He was shouting while he entered the mansion. Amara who was in kitchen came running to living area to see what happened. Vikram who had meeting in his study could hear his son's shouts and he too came running.
Ama: kya hua beta?
Man: Ma, papa election results were out today.
Vik: isme kounsi nai baat hain. You must have won the president post. Congratulations okay? Ab main jar aha hoon.
When vikram was about to leave he heard manik's voice
Man: No papa.
Ama: kya no papa?
Man: This year I'm not the president of the college.
Vik: Koun hain iss year? Tell me the name and I'll make sure he/she doesn't get seat or job anywhere in this world.
Man: Aap uski ye haal kardenge agar wo jithi toh?
Vik: toh, it's a girl ha? Yes, undoubtedly I'll do that.
Ama: vikram shaanth ho jaaye.
Vik: kya shaanth amara. Tune dekha hain? College me ek ladki ko itni himmat ki who mere bete ke against jaake nominations daalna aur jitna. I'll screw her.
Man: agar main aapko bata doon ki wo meri waja se jeeti toh?
Vik: kya greek ya latin baath karrahe tum! Sidha sidha either in English or hindi main boldo.
Man: woh nandini college ka president hain.
Vik: kya nandini? Koun nandini?
Ama: vikram(she shouted at him) Nandini, Nandini Murthy
Man: my butterfly
Vik: acha princess hain. Toh phir thik hain.
Manik and Amara stared at vikram dumbfounded.
Vik: Matlab on oath ceremony day I can see her directly. Manik tune mera dil khush kiya.
Ama: arey haan.. yeh toh main bhi bulgayi. Vikram (turning towards him) we are gonna see her. I can't keep calm.
Manik gave a disbelief look at his parents who were excited to meet his butterfly as known as their princess.
Man: shush!! Calm down. My ears are gonna blast hearing you guys squeal.
Both of them just made their eyes big so that they can make manik scare. But is he scared? Let's see
Man: Main aapke in badi aakhon ke dekh kar dar nahi jata hoon. Thik hain? Aab good night main sone jaa raha hoon.
