It had been a few weeks since I had moved into my house. I had gone on plenty of walks, gone into to all of the stores, and coincidentally met up with an old family friend. I've been pretty busy so I haven't really had time to talk to Kuroo or Kenma, but I'm sure they're doing fine.
I walked into my kitchen and sat down, eating a bowl of cereal. As I scrolled through my comments on my latest video, I got a text from Kenma.

Kenma: hello.
You: Hi!!
Kenma: how have you been?
You: I've been great! Why are you asking? :p
Kenma: figured I should check up on my neighbor since we haven't seen you in a couple of weeks.
You: Oh right haha well, how about you? How have you been?
Kenma: good. it's pretty boring but we have a match coming up against another school so we've been practicing our asses off.
You: well, you know where I live, so if you ever want a break you can drop on over and I'll gladly cook something for you and we can play smash or something :))
Kenma: are you sure?
You: um duh it's the least I could do for a cutie like you ;p
I cackle at the text that I just sent as I face palmed. I took another bite out of my cereal and looked at my phone. It took him a little bit of time to reply, seeing as he left me on read for like three minutes, the typing bubble popping up and going away.
Kenma: in that case, could I come over today?
You: of course! Drop on by whenever you want!
Kenma: I'll be there after practice. Thank you.
You: no problem!! Have fun :)
    I put my phone down and sigh, resting my head on my hand. I look around the room for a second before picking my phone back up, debating whether or not I should ask. I shake my head at myself, brushing off the idea that was ever so stupid. I head into my room, getting changed into an oversized t-shirt and a pair of leggings just so I can film a video. I finally had my gaming setup ready, so I decided I should begin to play a new game. As I stand there with my headset on, I turn on the microphone, check it to make sure it sounds right, and launch the game. I get the screen recorder on and begin filming.
    "Hey guys! I'm back!! A crap ton of you guys had suggested I play this game, and considering I saw a bunch of great reviews about it, I figured why not try it!" I speak, my eyes glued to the camera.

    "WHAT DO YOU MEAN THIS WAS THE BAD ENDING?? GOD DAMMIT I WANTED TO SCREW MATTHEW!!" I yelled, flailing my arms up into the air. I had just spent like three hours playing this otome game only for it to have been one of the bad endings. I stood there glaring at the screen until I heard my doorbell. I turn my camera off and headed downstairs, completely forgetting about my headset which was still on my head. It had cat ears at the top and were a bright shade of pink, which obviously went against the rest of my dark, comfortable outfit.
I looked at the boy who was standing in front of me and smiled, stepping aside so he can come in. Instead of walking past me, he stood there, staring at my headphones. I facepalm and reach up to slide them off before I hear him mumble something incoherent. As I hold the headphones in my hand, I notice that he's wearing the hat I made him. It was pretty chilly out today, so I'm glad to know he likes it.
    We were playing call of duty for hours until he got a phone call from his mother. I continued to play, keeping his idle character safe as he spoke. After a bit, he hung up and stood in front of me.
    "What's wrong?" I ask.
    "So, uh, my mom doesn't trust me home alone and she's going to a hotel with her friends..." he started.
    "Uh-huh" I add.
    "She wants me to sleep over at a friends house, so I guess I'll be heading over to Kuroo's-"
    "Why don't you sleep here?" I cut him off, smiling widely.
    A blush crept across his cheeks as he scratched his head, looking literally everywhere else but me.
    "I mean, sure, why not?" He said, causing me to jump up and down with excitement. He chuckled and sat back down onto the couch as I stayed standing, going on and on about all the things we can do in a night.
   

Kenma's POV

    I sat there, watching her excitedly ramble about a bunch of things we can do, but I wasn't listening. It was so cute how she acted when she was happy. How her hands would involuntarily make this notion that basically looks like an animal crossing character clapping, or how she would stumble and not realize.
    I can't help it. I've had a crush on her since her youtube career started, and now that I know her personally, my feelings are only growing by the second.
