Chapter 7

L is adorable! I am so sad that he died.

You were lying on your bed thinking about what happened between you two.

You broke the kiss.
Light stared at you.
"Scarlet." He said your name. "Light" you said.
You two stared at each other for a minute processing everything.
You touched your lips. "You kissed me." You mumbled.
Light looked away. "Do you like me?" He asked, his voice sounded so sincere as if he really liked you.
You stared at him. 'He is my victim. He is that Yagami's son' you thought. You could not fall for him, this is wrong. A part of your heart urged you to hug him, kiss him but other part just wanted to tear him apart. You did what you felt was right.
"I like you." Were the words that left your mouth.
Light looked at you with both happiness and sadness.
You were a threat for his family but still he could not control his feelings when he kissed you, he understood he was falling for you. He had other thoughts too. What if you were just this way? What if you were innocent? You were not a threat for him?
He did what he felt was right. He held your hand.
"I like you too." He said. "Will you be my girlfriend?"
You blushed and nodded.

"This is wrong!" You shouted and punched the wall. "He is my victim nothing else! I am just playing with him." You mumbled. "He too is playing with me. Nothing else."
But all the words that came out of your mouth were wrong, you liked him.

Light stared at the ceiling. "I kissed her." He said. "Maybe she is innocent. Maybe she is not a threat." He touched his lips. "Maybe, I have fallen for her." He said and closed his eyes.

Light was waiting for you near your locker. You appeared. Light waved at you, you too waved at him.
"So..." you said. "From today we are in relationship." Light said. Everyone stared at you two. They started whispering among themselves. Light held your hand and brought you close. "Light. Its embarrassing." You whispered. "We have to get used to it." He whispered. You looked at him, he had a light blush on his face. 'Why should I be the one flustered?' You thought. Then you gave him a peck on his face. He got all red. "Scarlet!" He whined. You giggled. "Get used to it we are a thing now." You told him and flicked his nose. He smiled and held your hand. You two looked at each other and smiled.
'I don't love him will never do so.'

Time skip by me😎😎😎

Light and I were walking down the road hand in hand.
"Scarlet. Wanna go to my house?" Light asked you. Your heart beat fastened. 'What should I do?' You thought. "Scarlet." He called out your name again. You looked at him and nodded. "Oaky." You said. He smiled sweetly. It was breaking your hard. Even if you denied the fact that you didn't love Light, you were just lying to yourself. You were in love with him. You had fallen for him and he was the person you had to kill someday.
You two walked towards his home in silence. You would sneak glances at him.
Soon you reached his home. His mom opened the door.
"Light...who is she?" She asked. "She's my girlfriend." Light told her, you blushed lightly and held his hand a bit tightly. Come on even a murderer has some weaknesses.
Light's mom nodded. She eyed you. You were shifting nervously under her gaze. Light saw this and told his mom that you two were tired. She nodded and let you two in. You were now in Light's bedroom.
"Your mom scared me." You told Light. "She is a bit protective." He stated. You looked around his room, it was neat but then a certain  word caught your eye. 'Kira' it was written on a big board, there were many articles too and many information was written by Light on sticky notes. You were now feeling afraid. So you looked around to find something to distract you. Light was in the bathroom. You looked below his bed and saw a box. 'I wonder what it is?' You bent down and took the box out. You were shocked by what you saw inside it.
Light came out of the bathroom and saw that you had seen his biggest secret.
"I am sorry Scarlet. You had to see it." He apologized.
