Chapter 6

You were waiting in the park for Light, you had decided to wear a simple blue dress, you (h/c) hair was open. Light too appeared.
"So, where you wanna go first?" He asked. "I don't know, I don't really go on outings with people." You shrugged. He nodded. "Well, let's just take a stroll then we can go to a coffee shop and talk." He told you. 'I have to get to know her better.' You nodded, it was simple nothing complicated.
You two were simply walking. "So." You started. "Do you have any siblings?" You asked. He nodded his head. "I have a sister. Her name is Sayu." He said. "What about you?" He asked. "Nah, I am single." You told him.
You two were talking about school and stuff. Light was telling you jokes and was making you laugh. Light felt a weird sensation when he saw you laughing when he saw you smiling.
"And so I just threw the bag at him."
Light laughed. You were telling him some happy moments of your life but not once you mentioned anything about your family or Diavel or Tsurugi. You felt your heart flutter when he laughed.
You two talked for a while, it was getting dark a bit. You two made your way towards a coffee shop.
You two drank coffee and laughed.

You two were now heading home when you saw Diavel, he was standing beside infront of a house smoking. Your heart started beating faster. 'What the hell is he doing here?' You thought. Light hadn't seen him yet. Suddenly you hugged Light. He stopped walking. "What are you doing Scarlet?" He asked surprised. "I just wanna spend some more time with you." You told him. He seemed surprised. "Can we roam for a bit? If you don't mind." You asked. He nodded. You two turned back and left Diavel.
You were holding Light's hand. You felt kind of nice being with him. You were falling for this guy who was supposed to be your victim.
Light too kind of liked it when you were around.
You two stopped walking when you two reached a bridge. You two stood there silently. Still holding hands. 'If I wanna know her better. I gotta do this.' Light thought. He turned towards you.
"Scarlet." He said. You looked at him. He slowly moved towards you. "Light?" You said. He crouched down to your level. (Yeah! You were shorter than him.) His face was coming closer. You tried to move away but you were trapped between him and the bridge. Of course, you could push him away but didn't want to.
He was coming closer, you closed your eyes.
Slowly, his lips met yours. He kissed you. Your victim kissed you.
Light kissed you. He kissed the person he suspected. For a moment he felt like he kissed you cause he wanted you not because he had too.
You two were losing.
You were falling for him.
He was falling for you.
