It was one hot summer day. (Y/N) was listening to his favorite band when his dad came in to tell him some shocking news.

Dad: Hey (Y/N)!

(Y/N): Yeah dad?

He paused his music.

Dad: I have something to tell you. You know that new job I got? Well it turns out that we will be moving overseas!

(Y/N): What?! Where are we moving?

Dad: Japan! I know how you like anime a little bit so I thought maybe you would think that this was cool.

(Y/N)'s pov

Thoughts: well yeah i like anime but i dont know the first thing about Japan or its language!

(Y/N): Yeah that will be great!

I said with a fake smile...

Thoughts: i'm really not very happy about this at all. I don't know anything about Japan and i was just about to start a band with Bill, Ted and Jeff. Now I have to say goodbye to them.

Dad: Great! We're moving next week! Pack your bags and put everything in the truck so we can be ready!

He left while I just sighed...

Thoughts: Well I might as well call my friends and tell them im leaving  next week.

I called my friends and them i was leaving.

(Y/N) Hey Bill I'm moving to Japan next week, I just wanted to say my goodbyes.

Bill: No way man you can't leave! We were just starting a band where I play bass, and you play lead guitar, with Ted on vocals and rhythm guitar and Jeff on drums! Come on man! We can't go on with out you man! You're one of the first friends i have ever had. *sob*

(Y/N): wait, are you crying?

Bill: yes *sob sob*

Thoughts: he must not be taking this very well. He is crying allot even though he Is the most manly out of the whole friend group. Well we have known each other since we were in diapers because his mom was close friends with my mom before she passed away. His mom was like my own mother as well. We were essentially brothers...

Bill: Well see you man it was good knowing you*sob*

(Y/N): Bye bro

He hung up so I called Jeff

Jeff: hey wassup?

(Y/N): I'm moving to Japan Jeff I'm not sure when i will be coming back.

Jeff: Really man? That sucks man too bad well we could always have Ted on lead guitar. See ya!

Thoughts: Wow that was cold... well we only knew each other for about a week so I guess we didn't have much of a connection. Well might as well call up Ted and tell him the news.

Ted: hey man hows it going wadyu wanna talk about?

(Y/N): I am moving to Japan next week.

Ted: Really?! That awesome man! I love Japan and anime and manga and stuff! Im so jealous!

(Y/N): So your not disappointed?

Ted: Yeah! About the fact that I'm not going! Well have a good time man!

He hung up so i just decided to pack my bags and help my dad with moving things.

(Time skip to the plane)

I was bored so i got out my ipod and played some megadeth to past by the time.

(Time-skip to the end of the flight) no one's pov

You walk with your dad to the train station while carrying some of the luggage and your guitar in the other hand. While your dad had a dolly that had your amp and some other things.

You bumped into a girl with short pretty brown hair while walking into the train.

???: eep!

Dad: (starts talking in Japanese)

???: start moving her hands in an "it's ok kind of motion" and  starts saying something in Japanese so (Y/N) couldn't understand any of it but he had a good idea of what she was saying.

(Y/N)'s point of view

(Y/N): i didn't know you could speak Japanese.

Dad: Yeah I forgot to tell you that i took Japanese class when i was in high school. I didn't think I'd  ever use it though.

(Y/N): Hehe well what did you say to her?

Dad: Well I just apologized for bumping into her and she said that it was ok.

(Y/N): Hey when does school start?

Dad: i think in a few days.

(Time skip to at the house)

Dad: here it is! Home sweet home!

(Y/N): i guess...

???: Konichiwa!

End of chapter.

Hope you enjoyed it! It was my first time writing anything really! Remember to be as honest as possible. I want to get better.

Requesting things that can happen in the next chapter are aloud.
