Chapter 17: The Woods

Hey just letting y'all I had to research about bombs and weapons for like an hour bc idk anything so if the fbi are watching I swear it's for a fanfic

I loaded my shotgun in a hurry "Bella, can you PLEASE tell me what's going on?"

"They had a tracking chip on him" I said as i quickly put my shoes on "they're gonna be here in 5 minutes. Hurry up"

As soon as he heard than he pulled out his phone and quickly typed something.

"Just..calm down okay? How many are they?" He asked.

"There's 3 of them...but they have a bomb" I said as I grabbed my duffel bag "and other dangerous weapons"

"Okay..don't panic. There's a lot more than 3 of us, Bella." He reassured me "it's gonna be okay"

"We need to hurry up, Theo. 3 minutes left" I said.

The door was busted open as the rest of the team stood there with there guns. I felt relieved.

"Come on." I said, as I ran past them and they followed me, I ran downstairs, and ran completely out of the building.

We sneaked up on the side of the building, as i saw them sneak up as well.

I stood back so they couldn't see me, I slowly headed back to get away from them.

I noticed a truck away in the distance, we slowly approached it and hid behind it.

A few seconds later, we saw them walking up against the wall getting closer to the door.

In an instant reaction, I shot one of them in the knee.

We all hid behind the truck as the shooting started, they hid on the corner of the building.

After a few minutes of shooting back and fourth, I noticed something drop right next to me.

I looked over and saw a high explosive bomb, I picked it up gently and put my weapon down, I looked at the timer and it said 00:56.

I immediately started panicking, but I tried my best to remain calm and tried to turn it off.

Time was running out, now it's at 00:24, now I really started to freak out.

I tapped the person next to me not seeing who theh were, of course it had to be Alyssa.

Her eyes widened "What the fuck? Where'd You get That?"

"I- I don't know how- how to turn it off" I stuttered.

She quickly snatched it from my hand, it was at 00:10, she threw as far as she could.

"Run." She said, as me and her ran away quickly, assuming that the other idiots would follow.

We ran as fast as we could "what- what about them?" I asked, out of breath.

Before she could answer, we heard a Loud bang, we kept running before it could reach us.

I could feel the heat chasing us, my heart was beating so fast. I couldn't care about anything or anyone, I just hoped Theo was okay...

This is all my fault..i should've known they had a tracking chip on Shawn, but i didn't.. I mean, I'm not god. I don't ALWAYS know these things..

After the noise calmed down a bit, we both stopped and dropped to the floor in exhaustion.

We both took a few moments to catch our breaths "thank you" I whispered.

She didn't say anything, just closed her eyes and took a few deep breaths.

I slowly got up to see where we are, we were in the woods. I've never seen this place before.

Nobody was around, and I mean nobody. All I heard was multiple animal sounds, I hope nothing happens..

I tapped her on the shoulder, she flinched aggressively:"we...we need to get out of here.."

She groaned as she got up on her elbow, I looked around and it was completely dark, we had no weapons, not even some pepper spray. We REALLY need to get out of here.

We both got up slowly, as we walked back trying to find our way back to the building.

But we couldn't remember which direction we came from because we were just panicking.

"Do you have a phone?" I asked.

"No..why would I have my phone?" She said with an attitude.

I really couldn't deal with her shit right now, we NEED to get out of here quick.

We heard the growling noise get closer, we both stopped "what was That?" She asked.

"Probably..an animal" I said.

She huffed "do you...have anything? Any weapon?" I asked, looking in her direction.

"No..i left it-" she stopped, her eyes widened as she looked at the floor "oh..oh my god.."

"What..w..what a...alyssa? What is it?" I asked, my hands shaking.

She stopped for a moment before she ran away quickly, I was frozen in the spot, I swear I couldn't move.

"Wait!" I yelled, but she was gone.

I slowly looked beside me, I could hardly recognize the figure, since it was so dark.

I saw the fur, and the eyes. It was a wolf...not too bad..but What the fuck is a wolf doing in the wood IN LA, that's just my luck.

"Hey buddy.." I said with a shaky voice, as I kneeled down slowly "ur like a dog, right? Just...a bit more..vicious.."

I pet it gently a few times before it growled at me, and caught onto my wrist.

I kicked it's stomach with my foot and ran away quickly, my wrist bleeding.

I finally found a little source of light, so I ran towards it, I pushed my way out of the trees and stepped out into the open road.

It was still extremely dark, only 3 lampposts were on in rhe whole street.

I sat down on my knees, took off my jacket and wrapped it around my torn wrist.

I hissed in pain, and punched the ground a few times, before I noticed what could be on this road..

Security cameras! I quickly got up and looked around to check for security cameras, there were a few around me..this day couldn't get any worse..

I started to walk away, trying to find my way back..i just walked and walked and walked..

A few minutes later, I felt a sharp pain on the back of my head, somebody just hit me..

I fell to the floor and everything turned black..
