Author's PoV

Taehyung rubs circles on Hobi's back to calm him down but the moment is interrupted by a phones vibrating in all of the boys pockets.

"What's that?" Hoseok asks breaking the hug. Only now he notices that Seokjin and Namjoon are not with them.

"Probably Seokjin informing that the clown's on his way here." Yoongi says taking out his phone to confirm if his guess was correct. To say he was wrong would be an understatement. He only sighs when he reads the text they've all received.

"What's that about?" Jimin looks at his boyfriend hoping that everything's going well.

"They say that they've lost the clown."

"They what?!" Taehyung and Jungkook exclaim at the same time. "How could this even happen?"

"Let's not question it. Just tell them to come here, the clown will show up nonetheless." Hobi says to his friend, he wants them all to be here with him before it's time to face his predator.

Yoongi quickly sends a text message and now all they have to do is wait. It's so hard to stay there quietly now knowing what's happening around you. But it's over when two figures show up in front of them.

Namjoon and Seokjin's faces light up once they see their friends standing in the shadows and the two quickly walk to them. By this time they're short of breath.

"Here you are! This is a great hiding place." Seokjin observes, his voice laced with happiness. It was odd especially knowing the situation they were in.

"So what happened, hyungs? How did you lost him?" Jungkook asks looking at his oldest friend. The happy smile on Seokjin's face instantly turns into a sheepish one. If it wasn't this dark outside the boys would see his ear turn red.

The boy scratches his neck and answers. "Well, Joonie and I were just talking, you know having a simple conversation. We looked at each other only for a few seconds and when we turned back he was already gone."

"You're saying you were flirting with each other and that's why you lost him? Who's idea was to send a couple alone on a watch and expect this not to happen?" Hoseok says finding the whole situation funny.

He's not mad at his friends not even a bit. Yes, losing a clown is quite an absurd but even the greatest plan has its flaws. And this just happened to be theirs.

"I told them to do it. Sorry but we can't change this now. What are we going to do?" This time Yoongi speaks up. It becomes irritating that one individual, who's location they needed to know all the time is nowhere to be found.

And it makes Yoongi extremely stressed. His best friend's life is at stake after all.

"We'll wait. He's the one who has to find Hobi so let him do just that." Jimin retorts shushing the group of boys.

He's sure they should've done this from the beginning. Letting the two play the game and be here when they were needed. And they will be.
