I can't believe my son I don't know what is going on with him these days it's like ever since his mama died he's been flying off the handle they still haven't even found the person that killed my girlfriend elijah mama anyways I gotta go because it's getting late and I'm pretty sure that Elijah didn't even do as I say.
And that was his homework or even clean his room yeah he's grounded for 2 weeks because of what he did even though he acted out on hurt feelings that still doesn't exclude the fact that what he did was wrong.
He could have endangered himself, James or a total stranger.
Oh yeah you know that rookie cop that arrested my son and his friend James she is at my house I wonder why.
Normani:so you are stalking me now
Dinah:what no I'm not I'm just patrolling the neighborhood and I happen to see your car in this nice ass house
Normani:what's the deal with you
Dinah:what do you mean I'm just doing my job

Normani:why would you want to check up on me your the one who put my son and his friend in jail
Dinah:that's because he was speeding and had not only drugs in his car but a weapon

Normani:(laughs) you want me to go out with you

Normani goes inside of her house puts her coat on the coat rack but once she got into the kitchen to get something to drink she saw James in her refrigerator.
Normani:boy what are you doing in my house better yet in my refrigerator
James:hi ms hamilton how was work
Normani:James answer my question why was you in my refrigerator
James:I was hungry sorry
Normani:(shakes her head) that explains why my food is always gone because your ass is always eating it
Normani:where is elijah at
James:(talking with food in his mouth) how am I supposed to know
James:who knows maybe he's upstairs jerking off who knows
Normani:(hits James on the head)

Normani:just take your food and go home matter of fact here (gives James $40)
James:what's this for
Normani:for you to buy your own food and to stay out of my refrigerator

James:that reminds me aunt mani what are you making tomorrow
Normani:go (points to the door)
James:ok ok I'm going thanks for the money aunt mani
(James has been to Normani house a lot so he sees her as a second mom)
James looks at Normani and says I will call Elijah later but normani responds with how you going to call when I have his phone.
As James left the house he saw his moms car and he said what are you doing here but she responded with what am I doing here the question is what are you doing at Normani house when you are supposed to be at home.
James:I had to get my grub on real quick (rubs his stomach)
Ashley:boy there is plenty of food in the house (shakes head) get your greedy ass in the car and come on
James:ma can we make a quick store run aunt mani gave me $40
Ashley:what happened to the money I gave you
James:I spent that money already on lunch
Ashley looks at James and says boy I gave you that money yesterday I told you not to be spending all your money in one day damn James.
James:so can we go to the store or what
Ashley:your so damn greedy we are going to split the money
James:that's not going to happen ma
Normani then goes outside and sees Ashley car and says I thought you left already James but his moms says we were about to leave my knucklehead son wants to go to the store do you want anything.
Normani:no that's fine thank you though
Normani:what have you been feeding him he sure can eat
Ashley:he get that from his ugly ass daddy but see you later we are going to go now
James:(shouts) THANKS FOR THE $40 DOLLARS
Ashley:(grills james) boy what did I tell you about screaming in my damn ear
James:ok damn I'm sorry chill out with the threats ma
Dinah POV
I can't believe she turned my proposal for dinner down come on now it's just dinner what she think that I wanted more yeah maybe her number but nothing less you know what I'm starting to think that normani yeah I know her name I was looking through her paperwork so what.
Anyways I don't know what her problem is I think she got it out for me because I arrested her son she lucky that my boss let him and his friend go with a warning.
But trust and believe if I see them out on the streets again they will be arrested again anyways I gotta go I have a lot of paperwork but first I gotta talk to my boss on why she let them go on a warning.
Dinah:(knocks on sergeant emily williams office)
(Emily is Jessica sister that's normani girlfriend her name is jessica)
Emily:yes hansen
Dinah:I was wondering why you let those two boys especially the one who reeked with marijuana and had weapons in his car
Emily:close the door dinah
Dinah closes the door and Emily begins to tell her that jessica is normani girlfriend also my sister which means elijah is my nephew.
Emily:and when I found out that someone murdered my sister I made it my mission to find out
Emily:just give my nephew a break he's been through to much
Dinah:what about his mom
Emily:she not going to be interested my sister was her soulmate they were going to plan on getting married
Emily:but that was cut off when my sister died
Dinah:if I may ask how did she die
Emily:some drunk guy killed her in broad daylight for the reason I don't know

Emily then says and cool it with asking normani out dinah says how'd you know about that Emily says I have eyes everywhere and I'm your boss anyways just calm down with asking her out normani probably still grieving over jessica.
